The current situation when I die.
I move on to the next soldier.
During the transition my screen goes from the eyes of a dead soldier to the eyes of the next soldier.
And this next soldier looks the other way.
And that’s how I, the user, get confused.
Where am I?
In which direction did I run?
I waste time and nerves looking for reference points.
It’s confusing and annoying.
Because in the meantime they are killing me once again.
And that’s how the whole team gets killed because I get confused about where I am.
I propose an effect that when a soldier dies the next soldier will automatically turn his head in the same direction the previous soldier was looking.
So that when I, the user, switch from soldier to soldier, I will see a more or less similar screen.
with the same points of reference.
And I the user on the screen will see the like zoom in and zoom out.
Smooth movement.
Smooth transition.
thanks for your

Im not sold. Its a good idea, but that moments disorientation is your killers reward. Not such a big deal at range, but big in close combat.
Its very handy when you take certain weapons into CQB
To avoid the disorientation getting your whole squad killed, its better to tell them to hold in intervals as you move in.
Maybe if your squad could defend itself, it would make sense.
You are fighting in a squad but currently AI is basically defenseless. So only the player can prevent a squadwipe so this has to serve as a very very very poor substitute for squad fighting back.
You know me, im all about the player having to do the work.
Would be pretty rough if they could get shot, swap character and be instantly orientated at you to shoot again
But thats just me
AI is meant to represent squad.
Since AI can’t do the job for shit, player has to do it.
This is the best suggestion I’ve seen on this forum. I think this problem affects all players without exception. This problem makes the whole idea of “squad” meaningless, because I don’t even want to switch to other members of the squad. By the time I know where the enemy is, I’m already dead.
Yeah, thats the way i see it. Because the AI has been made dumb, I still see it as a duel between players. Dont want the bots interfering with that generally (either by getting a retribution shot off, or pointing you in the right direction if you lost the first encounter)
If they werent dumb, id change how i see it.
