I’ve suggested lowering the mp18 's rpm loads of times but I’m suggesting it again as it would help cut down on br2 bloat.
The mp18’s real rpm was 500 whilst in game it’s rpm is much higher:
Once it’s given it’s actual rpm then it should be downtired to br1.
I am pretty sure it used to have around 500 rpm. Everyone requested it to be sent to BR1 and instead they gave it higher rpm…
Also it is supposed to be the cheap “starter” premium squad just like the Sten Mk III. Having the MP18 at BR1 would make too much sense for the devs to actually do it…
Switching weapons between BR1 and BR2 hardly helps the main issue that is over cluttered TT in BR1-2 for GE.
For some odd reason I believe the Mp18 remains fairly un-used regardless of its rof as theres better alternatives.
Its about time to folder 80% of useless guns of GE TT and make the grind somewhat bearable for new players ( Assuming there is any to start with )
Folding guns is a good idea, but some guns don’t belong in br2 anyway, so they shouldn’t just be foldered they should but moved out of the br entirely.
I dont disagree here, but from “meta” or even just general point of view some guns just has no reason to exist.
Thus some guns being absolutely useless doesnt really matter are they BR1 or BR2 and would rather see the problem solved by foldering them.
But to repeat myself again im not against moving it to BR1. But imo the bigger issue is the absolute truck load of useless stuff on low br GE TT.
One of those calling for it was me, and still is me as it should have never been inserted into BR2. I believe it was the predecessor to the MP28 and MP34, so why would it be BR2 when the others that came before are BR1? If they unlocked all premium squads, no one would consider using the MP18, and I would restock that squad with different SMG’s. 
Yeah, I think most WW2 guns should be BR 1 anyways.
It wouldn’t. It’s unimportant squad that’s available only from time to time.
Tech tree smgs is where the main issue lies.
I was under the impression the mp18 was permanently available, tech tree smgs are the immediate priority to prevent bloat but there are too many premium, event and BP br2 smgs as well.
It was up rof because it’s was a trash. Now you ask to nerf it again wtf
Because it never had that rof, most people wanted it to be br1 anyway not br2 with fake stats.
Well, I dont - its a decent squad with a health perk on BR 2 with not bad gun. I use it while it was old and uneffective - not a good thing. Ask to save this as legacy squad and add new one then
Why should we have 2 versions of a gun 1 that has completely fictional stats and 1 with it’s real stats, that’s absurd.
Well one for the boys like effective squads and one for the historians - mp18 was in use during ww2 ain’t it?
