Move the Soviet Chauchat to BR 1 from BR 2
The gun is strait cheeks but for the usual crowd that will cry “power creep” here’s my reasoning:
Gun is terrible compared to the TT Madson
Only available in a limited time collector squad for gold
Only has 4 members in the squad with 2 free slots
BR 1 needs more variety across all factions
They explicitly said they will never have any LMG in br1. Besides, it would be better to buff it anyway, it is nowhere near its real life capabilities.
Fair point, honestly having LMGs in BR 1 isn’t a terrible idea. Things like the vickers b and type 11 wouldn’t affect balance and would help BR 1 players compete in BR 2 matches.
You could just buff the damage on the Chauchat. The Lebel rifle on the Germany rifleman premium has 28 damage which is pretty high, so you could justify the Chauchat doing more than just 13.2 like every other LMG the USSR has besides the RD44

Thinking more dmg is a reasonable buff for a br 2 mg shows a fundamental misunderstanding of game mechanics. Just improve its sprint factor and movement dispersion

My first thought with the Chauchat is to increase the damage because its ROF is completely in the trash at only 300 RPM.
The Semi auto rifles that the USSR has at BR2 has a faster ROF at 350 RPM.
The Chauchat is going to forever be garbage if it’s going to take 2 shots to down someone with Vitality with its awful 300 RPM (at short range too, might I add)
