The Electrolux with ten rounds would make a good BR1 MG for event or for tech tree. We already have the standard Charlton in the game with 20 round magazine at br2 as an event squad. Perhaps as a NZ squad would be fun to see more CW nations. The high accuracy of the gun with small magazine would make it the first br1 worth mg.
As you can see both guns come with a 20 round magazine and a ten round magazine. a lot of people want a br1 mg but no one has offered one weak enough. some claim a low fire rate is enough but for an mg that just increases accuracy. The Charlton, Three bars and the Johnson are all 20 round mg stepping on sf toes so why not a ten round.

increasing damage would not make it br2
and make it so everyone has one sure when everyone has an ar at every br germany does
the only br2 capable mg would be a Electrolux or charlton enfield making it just a clone

I wouldn’t be opposed to machine guns in BR1 as long as every faction had one, and IMOP they wouldn’t even have to have ten round magazines as long as every faction had basically the same size magazine.

This is a great example of how not to do democracy and voting.
Saying it has to go into BRI will turn people off, and your spliting the ‘yes’ vote into four. So, obviously the awnser will be no.

SMGs > MGs and as such there is zero reason why there aren’t any BR1 MGs
The reason there’s no BR1 MGs is likely because half the benefit of an MG squad is the constructable HMG, and Engies are a br 2 unlock.

Charlton automatic rifle is already a BR2 event squad.

That point doesn’t make sense, you can take MG squads to BR1 if you give them the default bolt action rifle they’re recruited with
Same thing with flamethrower squads if you wanted to build the incendiary launcher
