it’d be really funny if every time a user gets permanently banned for cheating, their gold/silver gets equally split up and transferred to everybody who reported them

Well let me just say really quick that no matter if justified or unjustified bans - I simply dislike so many known people among us forum dwellers getting banned so often. Doesn’t feel right, that’s all.

Actually this is my 2nd time depressed by the team. 2 yrs ago I’d got a chance to be a forum moderator, and I had even already been authorized.
However, they mistook my nationality in the agreement, and they fixed it only after I pointed it out. Idk if it angered someone, because I was kicked out shortly after being authorized, without warning - just like this perma ban. They are the ones under the guise of the spirit of contract, but breach contracts and insult players at will without punishment.
The reason they provide then was also broad and elastic. After that kick out, no one apologized or gave me a detailed explanation, which also made me lost interest in continuing or speaking in the forum. Till this time, I lost my carefully managed account, and my friends. and what’s more disapointting, RIGHT AFTER THE DISCOUNT.

Forum bans and game bans are completely separate.
If you got banned from either, you probably deserved it. No offence intended.

Wow, that makes perfect sense… I have a pretty good idea of what might have happened, but there’s a very good chance it’s wrong.
In any case, you have to tell yourself that in all this, you might not have lost anything after all.
And regarding what you’re saying, the problem is that nobody knows who to blame, so a lot of moderators or assistants get the brunt of it from unhappy players, when the problem probably comes from higher up…
either the developers, the marketing team, or the administration.
I think there are other departments, but I can’t remember them all.

THX for reminding me that I havent lost anything after all.
moderators and helpers feel stressed because this is their job, if they cannot conduct the pressure from bottom to higher departments, there must be something wrong.
I hope they really have many departments to work on it, and if that’s the case, there would have been more professional people to provide a professional solutions instead of this simple and crude perma ban.
Anyway, I am proud that I did not pretend to ignore their mistake in my nationality back then, but defend the self-esteem and unification of my motherland.

Oh, you’re welcome, and I imagine it must be a complete mess in their system.
The moral of the story is that you have to take care of your moderators and all the forum assistants.
If there’s one thing I’ve noticed, it’s that even the testers aren’t listened to. There’s a certain level of toxicity there.
The communication is poor, and some decisions are made that are clearly wrong, even going so far as to deliberately ignore the players’ opinions.
But guys, I’m not trying to rub salt in the wound, but some studios have closed for less than this.
Because we mustn’t forget what keeps video game companies alive: their players.
If these companies are incapable of listening to their employees, or even their most loyal players (and, surprisingly, there are some), well, we need to be frank.
But there’s cause for concern, because the snowball effect can happen very quickly.
And in that case, it’s best to have a good reputation to ensure you’re rehired by another company…

Probably? So there is chance for parole.
I honestly believe permanent bans should be reserved for cheaters and griefers, but for exploiters? Just reset their insane progress and give them a temp ban, this drastic judgment alienates the playerbase from the mods and devs.
Again, the players on this list are known people on the forum, this obviously creates negative feelings towards the staff.

I don’t agree with perma banning being the punishment for the crime they committed, but some of them being forum members really shouldn’t matter at all.
