Changes to the Golden Chest

Honestly, if I’m spending gold on a random box, I’d at least like to pick the faction I get stuff for. Would really like to see a separate one per faction.

I think rather of getting a random customization item for a faction, the chest should give a token that can be exchanged for “a gold crate content customization item of your choice for that nation”.

Those changes definitely went into the right direction. But the entire system of “being able to buy more customization pieces via gold” is redundant as the customization prices are absurd.

Here´s an unpopular opinion: Customization orders are actually hard to come by as you easily burn through thousands to be able to customize all your squads.

Just make customizations we unlock via this chest purchaseable with orders. That makes them rare enough.

One small premium squad costing as much as a full game is no matter of perspective anymore.

Premium content is without a single doubt overpriced - and I dont say this out of “greed” or selfishness, I already own enough prem units because I have always been okay with supporting the devs - but from a Monetization perspective these vastly overpriced squads have always made zero sense to me.

If you get 5$ here and there as a company - you get money from a much wider audience, but only getting 50$ from a few whales cant be profitable. I simply cant imagine this being a good way to make money.

@MajorMcDonalds How come I still find all the customization pieces from already owned premium squads still in this chest? Is this a bug?

I even see premium squads I already own, like the US 115th Infantry Regiment still in the list of possible squad drops.

When you choose to deliberately ignore the fact that you’re comparing a free-to-play game with classic premium titles.

Funnily enough, some of those tittles have their own microtransactions on top of it. With very similar pricing. :joy::joy:

It’s literally industry standard.

But it isn’t. Otherwise, it wouldn’t be worth it for them to charge those prices. But that’s obviously not the case.

So, in fact, it’s overpriced only from your perspective. But an individual perspective isn’t some factual reality. It’s just your perception of reality.

But by definition, whales aren’t spending 50€. Even though some people think I’m a whale, I spend way way less on this game than the average whale.

No pls just remove all damage reduction bs from the game

I guarantee is the best move gaijin can do tbh

Is not that we dont want to is just the mere and idiotic fact that developers couldnt care less about ppl feedback and common sense when it comes to this stuff

Guess that community gave up and now we all have be yes man cuz nothing ever happens

And when it comes tl this topic can we get a basic pity system for the boxes because is unfair we have only less than 1% to get the juicy stuff…

At least a compensation price or anything tbh cuz this is getting ridiculous

Imo any body armor should be cosmetic only.

Anything that gives an ingame advantage basically forces you to use it as well or play deliberatelywith a handicap. It’s the same in War Thunder where Gaijin introduced bushes for tanks as “cosmetics”, promised it would never give an ingame advantage and here we are: Nowadays every player you’ll see in a tournament uses these ridiculous looking options.

I don’t want to see this for Enlisted to happen as well. If the game was realistic, body armor would also massively slow down soldiers. If they would introduce that though, no one would pick these anymore and the game would lose a cool looking uniform option. So make all of them only cosmetic and let the players decide how they want their soldiers to look.

@Euthymia07-live what are these JP cosmetics in the gold crate? they look like USA winter clothes

pretty bad but 300 gold for each sandbag on a tank is a bit worse… hopefully we can get them for appearance orders at some point.

@ErikaKalkbrenner pinging you because you’re the expert on clothing and you might know, where do these clothes come from on JP?

The coat is from the premium engineer (type Ko i think) and the pants are from the SNLF paratrooper squad (the one with the Type-100 rifle)

absolutely despise these clothing options… and of course with my hatred of them it found it necessary to shower me with many of the pants for them during my extensive openings

I guess it is time to finally set up proper Japanese BR4 lineup.

Its very nice BR for Japan. BR IV or V are the only playable BRs

One could claim that the “scam” here, are things like purchasing premium squads at crazy prices and having to buy cosmetics from the squad just bought, again, because they’re still locked behind gold cost.

It’s a popular complaint I see to date.

Or, it could be perceived as a scam to remove a really liked feature;
the gold order shop, allowing freedom of choice of product
And replace such liked feature… by loot boxes giving random things, also at the cost of money. No more getting what you want. Just a low possibility, playing with the hopes of the consumer in order to make him spend more.

Imo if that’s not a scam, it’s definitely crass.

It’s more like a collective delusion that people have convinced themselves that if they buy a premium squad, they’re suddenly entitled to use that squad’s camo on other squads for free.

Nothing like that was ever said, and nothing like that was ever offered.

So it can’t really be a scam. But I guess for people with an entitlement complex/mentality, anything that doesn’t fit their worldview is either a scam, a robbery, or immoral.
