They also pretend like they haven’t gutted existing customization options from many premium and event squads and made said options buyable with gold only.

Do you live in a country where gambling is prohibited ? I suppose these kinds of gacha boxes are not available there.
I just spent more money on 7 more chests… and got nothing in return. Listen, I know some of us here care a lot about soldier uniforms, but since this is a first-person game (so we can’t see our own uniforms), and my country didn’t participate much in the European front, uniforms are completely meaningless to me. Spending 300 gold and only getting a shirt, pants, or hat sounds ridiculous. So I really hope Gaijin will make some more reasonable improvements to this gold chest system. That’s all, thank you.

We didn’t want to put them (or any items with a gameplay benefit) in the Golden Chest as players commented a lot on the old announcement thread about it (being able to buy with Gold, “p2w” and so on). So, we may do something else with these. Soviet body armor is readily purchasable for customization orders, it would be odd as well to make other nations’ body armor cost Gold only. This is where the concept of a premium appearance order may be tied in to, or something else, we will see, but devs have been considering this and the recent feedback on body armor in any case.

I changed my in-game name, and I thought I’d have to change my forum name too… but it seems that’s not the case.
Tried my luck and what I got is a para helmet with difference is having a net on it, and a pants with different waist tie from the normal one. Also, have to pay it further more with gold for each piece. How much gold do they expecting us to spend gold just to complete all presets for just one squad?!?

I am writing to express my disappointment with the recent update to the chests. Many players, including myself, were hoping this feature would provide a fair chance to obtain rare squads.
However, by adding customization items to the same loot pool, you have significantly diluted the drop rates. This makes it mathematically clear that the chances of getting actual units are now incredibly low. It feels less like a rewarding feature and more like a cash grab designed to waste players’ money.
Please consider removing customization items from these chests or splitting them into a separate, cosmetic-only crate. Let players who want to calculate and spend their resources have a realistic chance at getting the squads they need.

Ok, so, no plans for Legacy Squads to be in the gold chest, that’s so good but… are there any plans to bring them back like at all? I’m just missing like 1 or 2 and I’d love to be able to get them, also, PLE-HEEEASE, change the M4A1 Sheman to a US squad and not to a UK one, they already have the Sherman II in the same squad

Should’ve filtered out cosmetic pieces that have little differences from the standard one and put them into normal customization instead (Like Japanese para helmet with net (premium), without net (normal) or Japanese green pants with just different waist tie shouldn’t be in the box in the first place). It’s wasting money and not well executed at all. I felt like being robbed TBH

funny cause soviets and US arent even that much affected by body armor since most of their weapons already are and stay 3 shot or have more exess damage to ignore it in case of the thompson.
yet this is fine since none of the axis smgs are balanced with 2 shot in mind ( nevermind almost all of them just barely 2 shot without armor (and 3 with it) but with worse ROF compared to other factions.
