Changes in WT that might make it to Enlisted?

From Server Update 29.06.2021 - Updates Information - War Thunder - Official Forum - there’s a few that seem relevant - don’t know if they port values straight over - I suspect not, but maybe these wil happen at some stage.

  • The radius of shockwaves has been recalculated. The damage radius has been set according to the peak value of the shockwave’s frontal pressure. For vehicles with an open fighting compartment, the threshold values have been set to 100 kPa to result in an unconditional crew knock out, and 30 kPa as a minimal value to damage the crew.

  • The damage Model on the machine gun ball mount and mechanic driver’s visor flaps on some vehicles has been fixed. Previously in some situations armour resistance of these areas might be overestimated when fired at armour plate joints.
    (vehicles listed for this include all the Shermans and Pz 3’s and 4’s used in the game across the 3 scenarios, and all the T-34/85’s used in Berlin)

There’s also the overpressure calculation that would make HEAT much more effective than it is right now.

It currently behaves as if a vehicle is open, while in reality a closed crew compartment would get devastated by a HEAT penetration.
