Developers haven’t changed br weapons for a month now…
Shouldn’t they be doing it already?
At least a few items should be moved between br 1-2 to br3, and others from br4-5 to br 3 and vice versa.
For example - mustang on br 3 is br 4-5, chi nu from br 4 to br 3 (actually even 2 because it’s literally pz 3j1 level).
Gewehr 43 - 4br → 3br (simply because it’s bayonetless and literally the antipode of the m1 garand)
Pz4H 4br → 3br, it’s literally the same as pz4f2, G, J, and on 4 br panthers appear, and these are literally ABSOLUTELY different level tanks.
Transferring ppd 34/38 br 4-br 3.
Transferring beretta m38 br 4 to br 3 or even 2, beretta m1 to br 2.
Italian trooper many people ask for - you killed grenades, molotovs and with it you also killed flamethrowers. You can just take them away because they are useless and they will take the deserved br 2 (the equipment change option is not suitable because some genius wanted Americans and Germans br1-2 to be able to play in Normandy and Ardennes, which meet on 4-5)
This list could go on endlessly, but the point is the same - br changes should be fairly regulatory, like in WT.

War Thunder bases every single vehicle BR off of how well the playerbase performs with it. So if a bunch of idiots play an OP vehicle, it gets moved down because idiots couldn’t do good enough in it and now it’s even MORE OP. Vis versa with mediocre tanks. It’s well known only really good and veteran players play certain trees. Those trees get absolutely butt raped in BR because all of those vehicles “perform too good” when in reality it’s just good players making them do good against mediocre players
So on every level and every fiber of my being, no.
Changes and adaptations as the majority of the playerbase (not just the vocal minority) sees fit and demands? Sure. Obviously things will not be perfect on the first set up. I’m kinda against any Allies changes cause BR III weapons are perfect and I’d be really upset if that “lineup” changes, but if someone wants something else moved around then whatever
Just for the love of God, don’t “like War Thunder” BR balancing
It is much weaker than BR3 tanks of other factions, but still much stronger than BR2, and its HE rounds are good.
P51D keeps BR3
Sov/Ger both have a 250kg fighter in BR1/2, so Mustang is fair in BR3, considering its superior flight performance compared to IAR/P40e.
Corsair BR4——BR5
Although there is no essential difference between BR4 and BR5, let’s pretend that there will be a BR segmentation mechanism by DF. Corsair are too powerful as a BR4 aircraft. Corsair, P47, KingTiger H, these have actually exceeded the strength of BR5. If there is a BR6, they should belong there.
P38G(fighter) BR2——BR3
Before BR2 Japanese have planes spawn in the air and with a payload equivalent to the P38G, P38G should maintain BR3.
G43 keeps BR4
Except for the absence of a bayonet, it is almost on par with SVT40.

It has a very high top speed, yes. Heck depending on the variant it has one of the highest top speeds of its contemporaries. However, it is a VERY heavy airframe and thus not only takes longer to get up to speed but also bleeds speed almost as fast as a light bomber. The 500lb’ers just make it useful in this game as strictly air superiority fighter planes are near useless in this game. Not to mention are just the historical armaments
It’s literally a flying brick traveling at the speed of mach frick as far as WWII planes are concerned with enough ordinance to make a Tiger II commander quiver in his war crime machine. It’s fine as is.
