This event type sure is straightforward with just earning points but the problem is the length of the event itself combined with the time gated progress to the point that this is causing burnouts much faster than grinding campaign faction level. My burnout is getting bad to the point that I play more toxic with more desertions as played in a bad mood that I need to call this event format out.
Armory was already the perfect format for an event type where players can grind at their own pace and still can be improved with more rewards and better ones too.
I don’t mind this event too much, but the 2 day reset is a lil confusing at times since it doesn’t tell you when it resets. I was going to play earlier today but didn’t want to put the effort for points to then be reset.
I can see those who play berlin being really interested in the launcher. For me, the only thing that im looking to get is the japanese firebomb fighter. Already bought the premium one so having that with my Zero would be very valuable for me
It is becoming the same for me, especially with the battle of Britain event. Because we had to destroy aircraft and to do some kill with them as well, I was just deserting games if I could not spawn a plane, and I was not playing the objectives at all.
Also I think that the two days reset makes it worst. Before I could play a little bit every day to get the reward. Now I feel lik this has become a chores.
I got one and my first impression is that it’s barely anything more than a collectible.
If you bring AT squads or soldiers in your lineup, you do that because you want firepower against tanks in the first place, so trading good AT capability for a questionable AA option is already more of a downgrade than a sidegrade.
Its effectiveness vs infantry is on par with other AT launchers, with a very small blast radius. So no AP benefits either.
Then again, just like AT weapons, there’s always a good chance that the soldier carrying it will be already dead when you need it, and the weapon lost.
With the added malus that, compared to tank engagement, there are even smaller chances that you’ll find yourself in a favourable situation to use your weapon, with your Luftfaust soldier alive and ready and with a clear line of sight on an incoming enemy plane, that will be within useful range for a handful of seconds or less.
TLDR unlike AT launchers, scoring kills with the Luftfaust requires both luck and to be playing purposefully with that objective, instead of playing normally. It’s basically a CC toy.
It is indeed an amazing fighter plane, except its supposed selling point turns out to be a mostly useless gimmick.
Yeah true, unless youre very accurate to drop at a key entrance/walkway, it is def hard to get value from it. As many have said from different posts, you generally get 1 kill and the rest assists.
But I have hope that itll get buffed at some point in the future
There isn’t even a week we got a suggestion here on the forum to “increase the amount of soldiers on the AT squad”.
You can guess why someone wanted that.
Also, the entire objective of that thing was never shooting planes, it is being used to clean buildings and corridors that are plenty on the Berlin campaign.
I think the 2d format is quite fine. It certainly is way better than the events where you needed to play every fucking day, where i think only neets can really commit.
Would i rather have “progress at your own pace”-event? Sure. But I’m a bit afraid that people bitching about the current event setup dont understand that going back to daily grind is also a possibility.
Keep the 2d format please or do progress at own pace, but for the love of god stay away from 1-day-level event format.
Speaking as someone with a full-time job and other responsibilities, AND as someone who has supported this game since shortly after Beta release, these events make me feel “unappreciated”.
I have bought Premiums, I have Premium battle pass, but I simply don’t have TIME to play as often as is required by these limited-time events. I want the Hellcat so bad, but have resigned myself to probably never getting it since the devs cater to jobless basement-bois who have the ability to play this game all day and night.
I just want to have a consistent unlock system. Half my playtime is practically useless since it keeps tallying points that I don’t have the TIME to complete. By the next time I get a moment to play the game, the 2 days has reset and I’m back where I started. It sucks and honestly kinda pisses me off
It is basicly just a copy and paste of the premium drop tank plane but with a diffrent camo so if you miss out of getting it you can always just get the premium squad.
let’s be honest why does enlisted put on these events, to increase engagement, it’s not to hand out new items there are many other ways to do that, i mean i am sure there are people who would want everything and i mean everything unlocked at full level and available for free at the beginning, the trouble is many fold first what do you then work forward to, what does geijin charge to continue creating content,
now if you want them not to require so much xp to unlock that’s fine it has been going up and depending on skill and level that will effect how much you have to play to unlock the rewards,
on the other hand if you want to grind a month long campaign in a week of days no, just no unless you want them to start handing out tickets, you may grind out you’re xp on these five day an only these days,
baring that perhaps you could tell them how to encourage more playtime without holding rewards behind time gates, you have to give something to get something,
it has always been time or money, and as time is mopey i all goes back to time, geijin took time to make this content and host the servers so if you want the shinnies one way or another geijin will get you’re time
