I think we should also have a “eat shid” queue that doesn’t give any sort of bonus XP, but is just a free for all mode that allows you to basically get into queue with anybody. Maybe a little sprinkle of silver or squad XP. All BRs versus all BRs.
Possibly with an aim to put 2 of BR3/4/5 into a match at the least, with the rest being whatever.
Zero bots, no team filling with NPCs, everybody that queues gets sent in with whoever it can shove into a server. Let the chaos begin.
I want BR +/-0 and I want to know the mission (map) before ‘START’.
The Custom match queues are listed. I want to choose my battle from a list of Standard match queues that have BR +/0.
The current ‘START’ with match-making can stay but I want the alternative please.
TY for your attn to this matter.
+/-0 is the choice. They should run it for 1-2 weeks before concluding it can’t work.
Yea with any bigger MM changed id prefer to have like a test week. But yea id prefer +/-0 mm too
That’s the more talked about way to change the br queues, which I’m not against either. I just suggested the one on my post since it keeps the same number of queues while giving each br a fair chance to be used.
I would prefer +/-0 matchmaking (no more uptiers or downtiers) if the player population could support it, but that’s a big “if”.
I don’t think there’s nearly the lack of players that people seem to think there is, and br +/- 0 should work just fine, but yeah, set it up and test it for a few weeks
I understand and probably shouldn’t have posted it in your suggestion thread. I just strongly feel the devs should give it a try.
That would be really great. It’s already bad enough that you can’t choose the maps and mission types you want and the matchmaking certainly doesn’t help either.
I marked all the Confrontation and Conquest missions I dislike, but surprise, those are the ones I get the most.
On top of that, I invested a lot in customizing my squads for Tunisia maps, yet the ones I keep getting are the Monastery map and various maps from the Battle of Normandy.
yeah, it’s frustrating. I got 4 “confrontation (large)” matches in a row today (or at least within 5 or 6 - just felt bad). I deserted the 3rd and 4th on sight.
Not sure which BRs you play mainly, but just FYI, tunisia isn’t available at BR 4 and 5.
they should split brV into V and VI, but, unfortunately, they don’t have any resources to perform that
you mean Custom Battle? Sounds like custom game to me.
Personally, I just don’t care about the 20% penalty anymore and ignore it; I simply leave every Conquest map. That’s better than spending 30 to 40 minutes running back and forth. In Confrontation mode, at least you focus on a single area, but even then, whether you win or lose usually comes down to neither team being willing to push.
I know, but since BR3 is included, using squads with a mix of BR2 and BR3 gear sometimes bumps you up to BR4. It’s really noticeable because I run into standard BR4 loadouts—things like the T-34-85, PPSh-45s, PPDs, and SVT-40s. The main BR3 gear I use is semi-auto rifles, but that’s enough to end up facing T-34-85s and the like, even when I’m using something like the Panzer III N.
Yeah but official
: D
It’d be good if they tighten the BR matchmaking to more of a +/- 0.5
As in if you have a mix of BR III and BR II gear it will put you against BR III/II but not BR IV
But if you have ALL BR III gear then it is +/- 1 as normal.
However if you have the above mix of BR III and BR II gear then put a couple BR IV weapons in the mix, your BR II gear gets ignored and you are placed in BR IV/III matchmaking. (But at least you won’t have to deal with BR V)
-/+ 0 would make it to where you only fight the same BR as the highest br item you have. So .5 wouldn’t make any sense
+/- 0 would be preferable but look how many years the playerbase has been asking and nothing has been done.
+/- 0.5 would at least be a step in the right direction.
