Change how tanks are rewarded with xp

Nice idea but it dosent work practically.

People will not follow the tanks doesn’t matter what you do is not profitable

Most tanks are not anti infantry (Panther, and m10 as an example) is not how they should be used.

If this will apply tanks will simply not be profitable anymore and ppl will switch to planes.

True, tanks like the Panther and M10 (as well as the SU-85 and jagdpanzer 4A) make absolutely no sense to go up against infantry. They are big, often clumsy, have long guns and long reload times.
Penalizing players for using them for their intended purpose is strange.

That’s exactly what I’m trying to do? Make it profitable.

So use lighter tanks. Puma, stuart, PzIII, scott (although open top can be a problem), Sherman, PzIVH they all are prefectly fine vs infantry. Actually ~3/5 of tanks in Normandy are fine vs infantry.
Unless they’ve changed something. Tbh I haven’t played properly with tanks for a few months. I have a fighter in my vehicle slot.

M8, pz3 m4 are good

Puma, pz4, Panther are not good

And rember that all the m4 line up has AP basically useless if you’re not using the jumbo.

Being forced to chose between antitank capabilities and anti infantry capabilities is not a good thing.

Panzer 4h is pretty good in anti infantry from my experience

It is a good thing. SMGs are good at close, sniper rifles are good at range. Some tanks are good vs tanks, others are good vs infantry.
What do you want? An MBT?

I play in an aggressive style with tanks where I’m almost always on the front lines, so yes good in an anti infantry role

No I want the liberty to chose what tank I want to use without being forced to pick the good antionfantey veichle bc I need to stay on point with them.

Until I exist with 7 explosive packs.

No? The Panther isnt good vs infantry as the jumbo but it’s good in tanks vs tanks combat.

I want the option to not be exploded by a random guy that is on my tank bc my teammate is to occupied staring at a wall.

The main thing here is to kill infantry, tanks that are weak against infantry will be of no use to anyone.
The Panther, for example, has good frontal armor, but weak side armor. In life it was used at a distance, standing head-on to the enemy, if I drive around the battlefield I will get a PIAT in the side and explode after 1 hit.

You will have such option. But it won’t be rewarded as much. Think about it this way:
Tank xp gain is really good so it should be nerfed.
(Maybe not by 50% after some thought.) After that, we implement a reward for those tankers who want to take a risk and fight at close range.

What are the other tanks for, then? Jumbo OP again? Tanks that are better against infantry make sense now, yet you propose to kill tanks that need distance

I will simply switch to ju 188 more rewards in the same time, and as a bonus I will not need to count on teammate to actually keep me alive.

Jumbo OP because… ? Because it’s “forced” to fight CQC? Or because it’s “forced” to kill other tanks at range?

Also after some thought, increasing xp for destroying tanks in a tank might help.
