I propose to make the mechanics of “free” tanks a little more historical. (But please, don’t tell me that the historical component of the game has long been dead and cynically trampled into the dirt. I know this without you.)
Namely, I want to propose to replace some models with ones more suitable for specific fronts.
BR I-III
Crusader => m8-Scott or M3-Lee for Pacific. m8 for Normandy. (I’m not sure if M3s were used in Normandy.)
Pz.IV E => SdKfz 234/2 for Normandy.
BR III-V
KV-1 (ZiS-5) => T-34-85 (D-5T) for Berlin and Seelow.
Funny that you mention that but keep the Jumbo in Normandy despite the Jumbo never being deployed during Operation Overlord.
Or the T-50 despite the T-50 only being deployed in Leningrad and the Transcaucasian front and once in a recon mission in Moscow.
Once game detects BR5 tanks spawned they should let players to spawn BR4 tank, with BR2 tanks it’s a joke as they will die instantly. Such teammate will only feed tickets to the enemy and don’t let someone with actual good tank to spawn.
