I always am one of the top capturer of the team every game.
Why? Because I wanna WIN the god damn game!
But I find myself with crapy teammates who only care about kills and not even try to capture/or barely any points and rely on others to win the game.
I just finished a game where I captured 9 and almost 10 points and end up being 6th on score board with way less XP than the selfish kill masters. (with 48 kills compared to 62 top killer)
Capturing a point need to be more REWARDING regarding points made. Like 5x - 10x MORE!
Destroying a vehicle is even more rewarding! Like WTF!
Otherwise nobody tries to win and it’s a big BS for a game!

And then you’re going to complain people cap points and leave them immediatelly hoping enemies would recapture it, so they can capture it again and farm XP.
The problem does exist, but solving it is not as simple as “grant more XP”.
Defending points, and not letting enemy capture it gives no reward.
I would even say game punishes you for it, you don’t get xp for recap, and are just wasting time while you could be getting kills.
I hope we get some xp for time on point or idk
For example, here i was like only one that actualy captured points, except first one, all others i had captured alone and game did have rewarded me for it.
anyways… anyone here knows how many points you get for capturing a flag? I mean, we cant really discuss things if we dont actually know how many points we get to begin with.
Depends on how much you have been there, i have seen that i have been awared with 50, 30, 15 i dont remember if its even higher or not, most of time im in fight and those points are just mad in there as i gain kills. xD
It varies, but I never earned more than 50 points by capping.
Which is barely more than a single kill on objective (45), and lower than two random kills (30 each)
okay thats a problem then, a full capture should at least give you as many points as 2 full squad wipes, considering that capturing is definitely more important than kills for winning the game.
Oh yes, it was a fair tactic in heroes and generals… poor team remained stuck on his first cap, without the enemy going in… because they (we, I admit) farmed them with big ordinance.
Capturing an objective (since it is, well, the objective of the game) should grant the greatest amount of XP. Why should the selfish murderhobos help their team, when they can slaughter krauts, and get more XP?
Keep charging objectives would grant more XP since most of the enermys are there. So, more enermys to kill, plus more xp for killing. This work for me, I keep charging in every battle and I rarely see campers can get more than 1/2 XP and kills of what I gain.
Yeah i know, what i meant was you get more xp if you let them recap, while your whole team suffers from it. You get extra xp for killing near cap regardless.
If someone rushes squad to point, and you wipe them before they cap it you only get xp for kills.
Now if you let them cap it, you will still most likely get more xp for kills, but also recap xp (and maybe you are trying to get conqueror achievement).
Still cap xp is laughable, but there should be more reward to defend a point, as you can easly get the BONUS for killing on point by just spaming HE from a sherman miles away.
Letting enemy capture point is not worht imo, as if you lose because you played with style like that is not worth it, i will rather defend than let enemy capture point because i want that win bonus. Also it is not worth even for those exp, because it takes time before they uncap, and than it takes time to cap, only for 50xp is not worth it to jeopardize win.

Players should defend points, game should reward that.
Right now it’s better to just sprint from point to point and cap to win game and get good score, if you sit on one point for 5 min and no one even tries to cap it you are wasting time.
Most matches now are decided in first 2 min, you can easly spot when you are geting steamrolled (unless 10% chance of balance), so if you don’t leave and try to defend B, as your whole team can’t cap A/C is pointless
But running from point to point is counquest in general, it does apply to any game that there is, this one is not an exception. But i still defend, if i dont see anybody for 30sec, then i relocate to point where is enemy or enemy try to push there.
What wins games in like 90% of time is good placed rally point, that is close to point, but not too close that you won’t be able to spawn because enemy is nearby.
