Captured weapon event concept

I have recently had an idea that I think is worth considering; essentially, it’s an event with no one set reward, but instead you are given the chance to get one enemy gun, but it is heavily scaled (based on kills) to the BR and power of that gun. For example, a Mosin M1938 Carbine would be far easier to get than an AS-44 or a Browning Auto Five. This would not apply to battle pass, event, or paid weapons; it would only be for tech tree guns and would only be one gun, because otherwise it risks ruining the point of paid captured weapon squads. It would allow for preservation of the faction’s identity while giving us all some new enemy guns to use.

No, thank you. Just play specific factions for theirs tech tree weapons.

I don’t want some meaningless event with copy paste weapons that are only ruining faction integrity.

I understand you; in terms of game balance, the idea is good, but it would ruin the immersion.

I think it’s a good idea. It reflects how everyone captured every and anything they could get their hands on. It’s perfect as event prizes to keep them rare instead of just shoving it into the Research Tree, looking at you Panzerschreck

I’m conflicted. On one hand I would definitely like to have a captured SVT or Bar for my Germans, but on the other hand, it would kinda ruin the point of factions.

I get that, and thus it would be a complete one-off, and you’d only be able to get one gun from the event. I believe that captured weapons only work when they’re given out as very rare prizes; any more and it definitely ruins the point of factions.

I have the Japanese Tiger but I don’t use it 24/7 even though it is probably their best vehicle. I use it once in a while

The majority of time I still play 100% Japanese because I am playing a historical game and I want to play as authentic factions. But there’s nothing wrong with having a little fun once in a while

I would like to have an entire squad outfitted or just have a good amount of items but that could be after a very long time of acquiring these prizes. But the majority of time I’ll play as authentic factions, just once in a while I’ll have a little fun and use a German squad armed with SVTs
