To all you fly boys, which one is better?
I’m leaning towards zero, although not fast, those cannons are lethal.
Open for discussion, I just hope devs fix D3A1 at some point, I love my attackers, but sleeping tail gunner ain’t worth the risk!
Not there yet, Just started with the A5M4, love it for A2A, no bomb kinda sucks though.
Zero should own the Wildcat, but there is no telling on how they modeled it.
Ah, the zero is actually pretty slow, but gotta say the cannons are good, yeh agree re A5M4 no bombs but allies do hmm
Don’t like the A5M4 as much as zero though, zero is amazing at kick turns (rudder), I use that more than wildcat, only just got wildcat.
A5M4 got improper opponent at this level, it should be facing F2A-1 not F2A-3.
Being fair the only equivalent that could face F2A-3 is A6M2-N and both had similiar bomb loadouts.
A wildcat with a good pilot will beat a zero with a good pilot.
But in most situations the zero is better at dogfighting while the wildcat is better armed for CAS.
Most pilots will do better with the zero. Plus in dogfights you usually won’t encounter a wildcat and when you do they usually won’t be good pilots.
Wildcat will do a better job shooting bombers down due to better speed and range.
in what world? because right now the jap kilo much more dangerous than the 100 pounder

.50s eat everything, and the zero’s guns suck ass
.50s suck for CAS though, too small while the jap 20mm works for CAS as well as those god tier bombs it has

It gets like 5 20mm shells so you’ll mostly be using .30 cals. .50s pen everything.
I cant answer for enlisted, plane are wooden log wo can fly, but i can answer for war thunder

looks cool, and it’s a proper fighter for campaign.
