I just sat through a Capture of a zone while on defense and did not die but I got no capture?

If you’re referring to being on the defending side and defending a capture point until the enemy runs out of tickets then yes, defenders do not gain capture points for defending the zone in the way capturing a zone as attackers would (save for kills while defending the objective). I don’t know if it’s been a recent change or if I can’t remember correctly but it may of gave points perhaps a few months ago.
Is fixed from a lot of time already
