Seriously, I tried manning them, and found out that huge shield + little window + no zoom is a terrible combo, I couldn’t see crap. They feel borderline unusable to me this way.
Fixed MGs need their zoom back.

I can, but its hard, wiped 2 squads with them but was pointblank and i got them by surprise.

There’s a bunch of fixed one you can find all around, it’s nice and all but… I can take them out with rifle fire, like the fixed mg42. Why do they even come with shields if even small arms can take them down?

But no zoom is such a great way of nerfing MG nests!
Seriously though, yeah it’s bad but not unusable.
Also, it looks like MG nests need 3 hits to kill? I’m not sure though so can anyone confirm or deny?
Mg nest is an mg with 12 of damage so if you dont hit the head probably you need 2/3 hit
And idk mabye its just me but the shield seems to not working either.
