Some warthunder/enlisted content creators are saying that the warthunder cbt with cold war weapons specifically Korean war weapon which are mostly the same as ww2 could mark this game’s end is it true and does that mean this game is dead

It definitely doesn’t mean over for Enlisted in the next X years. Enlisted will be around for a while.
But it’s pretty clear that WT is Gaijin’s main project. And at some point, substantial content focused on World War II infantry will be added to it.
It’s just not in the plans as of now. It’s the kind of lame excuse that both Gaijin and DF have used in the past.
Unfortunately, I have access to the infantry mode in WT. And as far as gameplay goes, it’s noticeably worse than Enlisted. There are fewer customization options, and the gunplay feels slower and more boring. Overall, it’s just not that great.

It’s been clarified a few times now that WT and Enlisted won’t be merged.
Whether or not this holds true for the future, nobody here can say.
For now, at least, WT Infantry is post-WWII. I hope it stays that way. Enlisted is way better than WT.

Planned or not, i fear that half of the enlisted playerbase will switch to War Thunder infantry.
All i hope is that we will not be thrown into the trash can after supporting this game both by playing/financially for years.
But after the gold chest addition, with premium squad owners having to pay with real money once again to use already owned cosmetics… we cannot really expect any care for us…

Nah, I think most of the people who play Enlisted, play for the WWII aesthetic. Post-WWII isn’t really a thing for most of us here. Perhaps some players will migrate, for a while at least, then come back because the UI of WT is simply awful.

You mean like devs leaving to create a game like active matter and have it fail. The same devs that could be used to fix bugs, increase game potienal! Wont happen, never…

WT will likely Abandon the mode after its oohs and awws are done navel got the same treatment also i don’t see the wt making infantry tech trees be anything more than government approved torture they take the worst aspects of both games too enlisted thrives on its aggressive chaos it constantly feels like a hollywood movie with non limited respawns is key to that wt usues limited spawns which is such an awful thing for combined arms games you will die to almost anything at any moment and since your not forced to pay for every round every grenade no repairs no medicalthe game play feels better there is not consequence to death expect time this keeps the game open to casuals who do die alot keeping the game very accessible fast paced and at the end really fun just about any playstyle works

I have no desire. The thing that is unique to Enlisted, many players are older and have time / money investment for years in the game. They are not leaving Enlisted.

People bitch about the money but on the other hand, it certainly gives people ‘skin’ in the game. If it was a one time fee and you got it all at once I think the game would have folded years ago.
