Given the inherent uniqueness of gold order soldiers, it is natural for us players to keep them in special consideration, and therefore I guess many (including myself) are more willing to spend orders or gold to customise their appearance, compared to regular soldiers.
EXCEPT,
Since current customisation is squad-specific, once we pick our favourite outfit for our brave gold order soldier, he’s “locked” to that squad, lest we lose all the resources we spent on his appearance and have to spend all over again to buy him new clothes in another squad.
Although this system can make sense for regular troops, it somewhat devalues the uniqueness of GO soldiers.
Hence I’m asking if it’s possible to tweak the system so that GO soldiers (and possibly all “unique” ones, like the ones obtained via twitch drops or events) get their own individual customisation, which follows them around and overrides the standard squad customisation.
