Can we get the "Bangalore" added to combat engineer squads?

Marine Corps Combat Engineer and OEF veteran here. I’m an active player and would love if the devs could add the “Bangalore torpedo” Would be a perfect addition to the game and allow the combat engineer to be used to their full potential. Obstacle building is a huge part but so is being able to breach those same obstacles.

I’ve posted this in the past as I’m all for it. The major issue right now though is that fortifications are just too fragile for it to even really make a difference/ be worthwhile. Perhaps if they were more durable and COULDN’T be disassembled by simply walking up and holding a button they would be.

That said, as far as implementation goes, I’ve been thinking about this myself. *I would like to state that I clearly don’t have the same level of expertise as @73329837, but I’m working off my understanding from research.
Perhaps it be treated as a “mine”, where it includes the tube as well. It can be “placed” in the direction its meant to go. You can add more length to it via more soldiers carrying the Bangalore Torpedo “mines” simply switching through characters to add to it (with a limit obviously). Each segment adds a little length to it.

This would likely also increase players making use of the shovels to dig a little trench and give themselves cover while its assembled and operated.

Its a fantastic idea, just needs to be fleshed out.

I think that’s a great idea, it sucks not being able to deconstruct map obstacles.

Related, I’d really love the ability to mousehole through buildings with engineers. It would open entirely new pathways through some maps
