Suprise suprise the new smg again has broken dispersion…
Just when they “fixed” the dispersion on the ppsh box and orita they had to add ANOTHER one with broken dispersion to take their place.
If the 0.21 dispersion ever was supposed to be an feature and not a bug then why was the orita also changed when the devs also fixed the ppsh?
I dont remember anyone complaining that it was so OP stuck in a 4 man squad which would have needed a nerf.
So could we please do something about it?
Or if they really dont want to do that then at lease give that dispersion to EVERYTHING instead?

Honestly, the game would feel really good if:
- Bolt-action rifles had 0.05-0.1 dispersion
- Semi-auto rifles has 0.1-0.2 dispersion
- Assault Rifles had 0.2-0.3 dispersion
- SMGs had 0.4-0.5 dispersion
as a general rule, with some exceptions for balance and uniqueness. Playing other games and coming back to Enlisted, it feels like they removed the rifling from my weapons, and giving us these levels of dispersion would make gunplay more rewarding.

Dispersion makes gunplay feel bad in a lot cases. The bullets just fly off into random directions for no more reason than the fact that the game decided they should. Not being able to kill someone because the game decided you can’t hit them doesn’t make for good gameplay

Hence why they should be halved, give or take. Keep them as a balance feature, but make it so bullets go where you aim.
Well SMG’s tend to have a lot shorter barrels
Recoil should be used to balance weapons not dispersion. I am fine with very high recoil as long as my gun shoots where i point it. At least recoil can be controlled and isn’t random

TT I suppose its only fair (if for nothing else but consistency)
…But the premium Prohibition was a paid for perk. as long as that stays “distinguished” from the TT
No, it wouldn’t.
What’s problematic is penalty to dispersion while moving.
Not base dispersion. That one’s already reasonable.
Not being able to hit anything because someone decided to eat all the rifling isn’t a reasonable way to balance guns. I agree though that the dispersion penalty while moving needs to go
