MG-13 75rnd since it is best BR3 MG imo, EMP-36 is basically MP38/40
For practicality, choose the MG-13 light machine gun squad; for collection, choose the Elma EMP36 submachine gun squad, right?

I bought both squads. If you like the MG-13 as it is, then other then the bigger magazine size it shoots just about the same. The EMP36 I really didn’t need since I have a ton of Premium BR2 German SMG squads as it is, but IMOP it’s similar to the M1 Beretta with a ROF of 500, which puts it somewhere between the Beretta and the FNAB. It’s not bad, however the ROF is low, especially since every Soviet SMG has a much higher ROF, and the only BR2 Allies SMG that has a lower ROF is the M3A1 Grease gun. 
Neither IMOP are bad, but if you can only get one I would just base it on which I need the most. Really, I have so many now I don’t need either, but will find a place for both. If they had interchangeable weapons, that would make a world of difference because I could use them both at any BR level.
