This is exactly how they can scrap the prone only.

To be fair, there was nothing stopping the developer from doing the same thing initially
I correctly believe that Browning a4 in this form should be transferred to 3 br, or changed and made by analogy with a6But then the question is… why would we need a6…?.
Just a dumb dеcision, ill-considered

At the same time, they wrapped the barrel, which should protect your hands from “overheating”

The water cooled 1917 is pretty metal, that would be a cool one to add for USMC squads.
On topic though Hip fire for all these “brace only” weapons like the 1919a4 and the Browning 303 and the Solothurn 20mm would be much appreciated. No ADS makes sense considering the heft of some of them, but come on no hip fire?

I am in favor of any abolition of this mechanism.
or for the total recycling of all weapons

Still, I think the Solothurn’s lack of off-hand firing is the right thing. And that all Type 97 variants should also have this restriction.

In its current state, it looks damn stupid. It’s like some kind of Korean fantasy that doesn’t even try not to look stupid.

As for the 1919A4 and the Japanese Browning, I’m generally not opposed to them gaining hip-fire capability.

Yeah, that would be cool.

I understand but as to the AT rifle thing firing from the hip or shoulder it would/is a quality of life feature that helps when trying to take out tanks IMO, Ironically enough you need to be mobile with AT rifles in order to use them most effectively (as you probably already know). AT rifles would be woeful at taking out most tanks if you couldn’t at least hip fire. 50kgs or 20kgs of AT rifle isn’t exactly light though so I understand but from a game play perspective it definitely helps unless you just want to camp with them.

I don’t understand what’s stopping everyone from destroying tanks while prone? Is it just a matter of taking half a second to get down and start shooting? Why does the inability to noscope 360 while jumping automatically make a weapon garbage?

No its situational I’ll admit but half a second can make the difference between getting the kill and not getting it. I wouldn’t like it if all AT rifles were prone only But I would live with it, my excuse Enlisted it Arcady and that’s what makes it more fun than mil sims IMO.

I just don’t like guns that look dumb. I think a prone-only firing mechanism makes anti-tank rifles more varied and interesting (and less dumb-looking).

I could understand the “fun” part if it were something deliberately crazy from the start. But I remember this game completely differently in 2021.

You know, it makes me sad.

Fair this isn’t TF2, I haven’t been playing as long as you I’ve only been around three years. I saw ads recently for enlisted with real photos of US troops in digicam, like ???. Enlisted has changed I saw the merge the BP and yeah it’s different. I think ideally there would be an arcade and realistic mode so purists could have something more HA and Weekend warriors like me could play a WWII semi arcady game. Maybe its better for the health of the game if they were prone only doesn’t mean I need to like it though but yeah I respect your idea.

I used to absolutely adore this game for its perfect balance between arcade and realistic elements. It absorbed the best of both worlds. Over time, the game began to morph into an arcade-focused experience. But in my opinion, it’s doing a poor job of it. All these new arcade-focused balance changes simply feel very unnatural and out of place on the old, semi-realistic foundation.

They once promised to do something similar. Now we all know their words are worthless.

Welp I am not surprised…
Change is inevitable, here’s hoping it goes in a positive direction regarding Enlisted.

game is way too fast for it, it did work fine in Hell Let Loose. Feel like the size of the maps and the pace of the game means whatever you run have to at least have a chance to beat assualter/br5 rifle. even MGs are iffy due to the ADS speed.

I can’t remember ever seeing BR1 tanks that move like Quake players or Skaarj from Unreal.

I still like to do war crime stuff with the rifle but I guess I’m in BR2 now so the other type97 is basically the same thing.
