We know there are already placeable foliage items for use on vehicles. Why not allow engineers (of all squads) to place foliage? Could be used to disguise AT/AA guns, MG nests, tank ditches, ambush positions, snipers, AP mines… the possibilities are really limitless.
Also, allow flamethrowers and molotovs to burn down foliage.

My only addition to this is that AXES need to be able to break down foliage and trees as well.
One restriction though is that it cannot be built INDOORS.
Having added foliage camo to my Tiger, an additional note for this: Foliage should become transparent in close proximity, so you’re not blinded by your own camouflage. This is already an issue when trying to set up LMGs.
You could build Christmas trees during the holiday event at the end of last year. They were more festive then camouflage however, as there are no other Christmas trees in the game so they looked rather conspicuous, and instead drew your attention toward them.
