BUG - can't remove items unless leaving game and coming back in

New thing that’s started happening over the last few weeks. Let’s say I equip an item that is BR3 and it’s the ONLY item I have. I queue, and then realize I’m in the wrong queue.

I leave the queue. Only now, it never recognizes that I’ve left and no matter what I do - leave the group, whatever, I can’t remove it - unless I quit the game completely and come back in, then I can remove it again.

REALLY annoying since the game doesn’t exactly load quickly.

Yeah I had this also but just a few times.
I click start, the screen ‘battle is being prepared’ appears but disappears quickly.
I then can use the menu and stuff again, it appears I have left the queue.
But some time later I am suddenly going to battle, I apparently did not leave the queue, which I didnt want anyway.
