I had 9 losses in a row against Axis. Axis is just too OP right now
Germans have better tanks, infantry rifles, and LMGs. The soviets have better SMGs. Both have similar sniper rifles. Germans are just better here, if you want to play the soviets then play in Moscow where they’re better.
Bodyarmor doesn’t even do anything and I still get killed easily, armor should be buffed to deflect bullets and reduce damage. Because they aren’t really helping my assault squads. Not to mention Germans late game get FG42 and Assault Rifles. And have Planes with much bigger payload its not fair
All it took for me was to read this to know you’re joking, I mean you are joking right? The T 34-85 vs the Panzer 4, not even the good panzer 4, the handcranked one.
Sounds like a you issue. I’ve only lost one match as Soviets on Berlin since the test opened up. And I didn’t have access previously so I started as a level 1 and have won 5 in a row as Soviets.
I thought I was the only one who encountered this situation. Since the update last night, I played 20 games, but I only won 3 games. This win rate is really terrible. I am not a drag on the team, on the contrary, I rank among the best in every game. I don’t know what happened, the German army in Berlin became very strong. This situation is completely different from the CBT in the Battle of Berlin.
I agree. I do many matches with friends, almost all lost against Axis. Axis have too advanced weaponry, i don’t want to imagine what will happen when they have access to FG42, MG42 and stronger Planes. I already encounter several Panthers, and T-34 just get one shot.
As is, games for me have tended to be a stop for either-or team. With the reduction in try-hards and sneaky flanks, it really has come down to more whether the soviet team gets things rolling along to where their momentum carries them to victory or not. As right now you’re getting braindead players on both sides taking the Zap Brannigan approach to warfare for the most part.
Ultimately, if soviets flank and place respawn beacons, they’ll usually win. If they don’t, and Germans aren’t totally braindead, they’ll proceed to send wave after wave of lemmings at a wall that tends to hold it’s ground rather well.
Ultimately, it’s an experience, patience, and intelligence issue.
Meanwhile, in my Panther, it usually takes two shots to kill a T-34-85. Panzer IV’s just suffer against them. T-34-85’s will one-shot panthers to the turret if you aim. Though wonkeyness with the tank models cause both sides to suffer.
Also, I’ve yet to see a single FG42 on Berlin. Maybe one MG42. Most LMGs are MG34;s that I’ve seen. Certainly, that’ll change over time, but still.
If there’s any advantage german players have right now, it’s all the CBT players running around with squads full of maxed out VG.2 bolt actions one-shotting anyone they point at, lol. That and the gold gun / gewehr 43 in kurz is kinda dirty. Then again, so’s the soviet PPSH-41 and PPD-40 with drum mags that melt rooms exceedingly quickly.
I know that there is a gap in the equipment of the two armies. For example, the T3485 is better than the panzer4, but the Panther is undoubtedly better than the T3485. I’m just very confused, why I keep losing the game. I just asked my friend-a game video uploder (using the German army), and he also thinks that since the last update, his win rate has greatly improved.
Wow… a single screenshot… add on top of that you just played pilot all game… And you are campaign level 15 playing against a bunch of level 1-6s and still are barely getting first.
There’s a significantly larger gap in performance between the Panzer IVJ and the T-34-85 D-5T than there is between the T-34-85 ZiS-S-53 and Panther G.
I will agree that the German Winrate has drastically improved since CBT, but that’s only taking it from 28% to ~50% as of day 1 of OBT. Again, most of the time I see soviets fail, is when they are totally braindead in their gameplay, and simply form a steady lemming rush to the cap, with no-one flanking. Which I think just comes down to all the new OBT players not having had the time to learn the maps.
