Bro its a BR III soviet Plane with 1 20mm Gun with 120 rounds 2 12,7mm with 300 rounds, it dosent have fighting flaps and it cant go over 100 Thurst like all other planes can have 110 thrust and dont js put it in BR I it would also be shit in there buff it so i can shine at BR III
If you use a plane with no suspended armament in anything beyond BR1 or god forbid 2 for spitfire, you belong on a cross.
I propose no buffs to these planes as you should not be using them.

There is shrimply no way to make a plane with no suspended armament “meta” so in a completely unrelated topic I wonder why people think giving jets no armament is a good idea.

What what’s bad about it its good interceptor plane. USSR needs a all around fighter but I don’t see how or why Yak-3 should be buffed its excellent plane In the hand of a capable pilot far better then Ki-100 or P-51D-5. Yak-3 requires skill to play but having more guns is not always better Yak-3 cannon is central so you have far more accuracy then many other planes and the plane is the jack of all trades against other planes however it has no payload. So soviets need a new plane with good payload for BR III but for sure I don’t see how yak -3 can be buffed. The only problem is the FW that after the update got insane buff and it was far easier to kill them with Yak-3 in the past now FW is better then Ki-100 or P-51D-5.
I use such all the time specially when the enemy team is spamming planes they are perfect.
You can’t shine a turd… it lacks the core fundamental of what a plane is supposed to do in the average game which is tame tank spam.
You shouldn’t try to give an incentive to use something that shouldn’t be used in the first place… and I’d assume they don’t have the ability to carry bombs so if that can’t change then they should stay where they are.
Yeah and then your teams fighter slot is taken by someone incapable of killing tanks.
That’s why there is ground attacker slot the Yak-3 can still kill apcs and can go 1 vs 2 against majority of German Ground attackers and Fighters. If there is enemy BF or FW what you gonna do with P-40E-1 ? Yak-3 has good characteristics for a fighter not every plane role is to kill tanks.
But there is nothing that can be done about the Yak-3 the only option is to move it to BR II like the spitfires. Since there is nothing that can be done
It has no Emergency Power or Afterburner the standard Yakovlev Yak-3 does not have WEP because its engine was already running at its absolute absolute emergency limit at 100% throttle so there is not much we can do here. Pilots physically pushed the throttle past a gate or stop, sometimes breaking a safety wire (a copper “witness wire”) that signaled maintenance crews the engine had been over-stressed but with Yak-3 that’s not possible.
We all have our own opinions… I personally think you’re wasting the slot if you choose a dedicated air to air plane and despise those who do it in my matches while I get molested by tanks and also a bomber that can’t do jack shit.
Because I WILL NOT whine about getting killed by the tank… instead complain about the griefing teammate who is selfishly in like this example the French yak just having a jolly old time in the sky unaware to how much he is fucking over the team.
Thus, I think these planes should be forgotten about and not made better so people think about using them… it is quite a childish way of thinking but I have had it with people using these and fucking over the team.
the 20 MM cannon can absolutely destroy majority of BR I tanks and some BR II tanks. So at BR II Yak-3 can kill tanks. Specially puma that is super popular and with Japan actually everything at BR II can be penned by the 20 mm cannon.
Well if he is killing the apcs and preventing the enemy team from bombing you specially with the new German plane buffs you should be very tankful to the Yak-3 since planes like the FW can clear a point in seconds.
That’s fair enough… so being in 2 would be better… imo all planes without bombs should go to 1 so you hopefully don’t enter BR3 games and do like I said.
Most players won’t be able to grasp the concept of doing top down attacks… but you do have a point that they can kill lower BR tanks.
I couldn’t care less… I don’t give a shit about getting bombed by a plane unless like with tanks some selfish teammate is camping the plane and not doing anything about it when I inevitably do get annoyed by it.
Also… even if he is taking out the planes I don’t care… tanks are more annoying when used properly as there isn’t a waiting period for resupply.
Nothing is going to change my mind on this topic… I’ve had too many bad experiences like I mentioned.
The problem is USSR at BR III don’t have a good fighter plane option only the new premium one. They have specialized planes for specific tanks but nothing that is all around like Japan, Germany or USA. So their fighters are good for one specific task. So they can move the Yak-3 to BR II but at BR I will be too strong since it can pen almost everything and it has much better performance then all BR I planes.
