currently there is no reason to choose the mg nest over the AAA gun apart for space
the AAA gun has
more cover
is more deadly
large ammount of ammo
cant be destroyed by small arms
can be constructed faster
can block entry to objectives
the pros of the mg nest are
unlimited ammo
AAA should be quite good vs infantry (but not too good).
It’s the MG nest that sucks.
I think that the nerf that the mg nest can not zoom in anymore is way to much. We need it back
Not only I would put the zoom back for the fixed mgs, but I would also put mg42s on lafette instead of mg34 in all campaigns aside from Moscow
Mg 42 was way more common after 1943 than mg 34
The only thing I find truly weird is construction time. They really should swap the constricted times of mgs and aa guns…
Oh also, they need to make the angles of fire for mgs larger… left to right but also up and down.
The angle of fire is fine (almost all time) the problem is the mg nest has the prebuild mg in the corner of the sandbag, and you cant use here if your soldier hit the wall wen he try to aim
Removal of zoom, way more limited vertical elevation and depression and horizontal angle of fire
They do love hammering down the mg nest to puddle of mess
