Buff the Horizontal recoil Perk:

There is not a single gun in enlisted with bad horizontal recoil

I doubt it.
Did you know that before the recoil work of FG2, the recoil of the old FG2 was easier to control?
At that time, the horizontal was fixed, so it was easy to match it with full auto from outside 100m, but now the horizontal is random, so it’s not as easy as then.
To be honest, it’s true in FPS games that a smaller horizontal than a very large vertical is difficult.
This is a well-known fact.
This is because the difference between one direction and two direction makes prediction difficult decisively.

Charleton had stupid horizontal recoil before the changes. It’s still not great there. Tokerav has pretty bad horizontal. It’s usually on the MGs. Everything outside of that i have an alright time with and only use vertical reduction perks with

They’ve all been given a buff, but no, they had to do this to my poor fg 42 1. wth.

At the current stage however, the Horizontal recoil perk is overpriced and simply not worth the sacrifice, nor even necessary for majority of guns in the game, save for the FG 42 1 as one example, Conders or mg 34, which have exceptional horizontal recoil for their class. You can still play them without horizontal recoil perk: the outcome is not much different.

I am currently doing so: using the FG 42 1 with only horizontal recoil reduction: I get more consistent line of shots at medium to long-range, but I am still forced to tap fire in ADS due to the vertical recoil. It’s an alternative, but for sacrificing 16 points of weapon handling, most ppl will obviously not do that when the FG 42 2 is around.

If you run these weapons without horizontal recoil reduction perk, but with full vertical instead, the tradeoff is that you get better hipfire at close / bit further range, at the slight *cost of aforementioned consistency. You also need not compensate as much when full auto, and makes full auto more tenable for these weapons without the need for tap firing. When firing at any ranges with these weapons, their high ROF can somewhat compensate for their poor accuracy just by spraying bullets: honestly, the Horizontal recoil perk does not significantly improve the handling of these weapons. Just get full vertical, and put some points in reload, or other weapon handling perks. Tap firing the MG 34 and FG 42 1 is still the way to go at medium-long ranges.

I still miss the recoil of old FG2.
It was a really ridiculous laser gun, and of course after getting the damage up, it’s now reasonable, but I still miss the recoil back then.

I feel like it’s unreasonable again: It’s completely terrible recoil compared to the FG 42. They could have just set the values between what we have now and then, and that would have been OK.

lol out of all the guns you said tokorev has bad recoil. Yeah guys trust this consoloid is super good at the game

You rarely make yourself sound good. Did i say “bad”? I said use something with high recoil and big mag/belt for a test. Are you really going to say the tokorev shoots the same as a 1919a6? I do believe the tokorev visually kicks harder than most other guns as well. So if there’s a difference in visual recoil between platforms then this would be an ideal gun to test that on.

Now I’m genuinely curious what gun you think would showcase any differences better? Most guns don’t kick very much anymore. As previously stated, the charleton would of been a good pick before changes were implemented. It had really bad horizontal and visually kicked quite hard with every shot on console. Please enlighten me with you’re knowledge sensei.

Idk man you tell me I’m not the one having trouble controlling the tokorev. Clearly you do as ur claiming it’s a use case where a horizontal recoil perk is needed

Figured as much. Zero substance, all insults. Here’s my record if you’re curious.

I play all factions, all brs, usually solo, and yes, i play crossplay lobbies, and no I’ve never played a custom match before, nor do i quit out to fake the stats. Not that important to me (All factions right around 70% win rate) feel free to share your card anytime.

lol vehicle spammer too. 70 percent ain’t gonna cut it

I play infantry far more than vehicles? I rarely get in a tank anymore as it is. Play planes way before tanks. Anyways, talk is cheap until you put up your card.

I know you didn’t bother doing the math, but my tank kills are only 14% of my total kills. I would hardly call that tank spamming.

Gonna be really funny if your’s is higher. Might think twice before posting it
