Buff semiauto rifles and make planes more useful

As stated, Semiauto rifles seem like cotton throwers right now, not effective combat rifles. Please give them the same damage as a bolt action since they share the exact same ammo.

As for planes, I find them stupidly hard to score any kills with due to lack of visible enemy units. Please do something about this. I realize CAS in war thunder is seen as oVeRpOwErEd, but the planes feel useless right now.

i can agree on semi auto, because pistols are almost better ( if not certainly )

but i disagree with planes.

because it’s made for team play. you have to pratice but it’s very powerfull. when someone ping on the ground, you are able to see it, and than drop your bombs, which as i can see it’s working as intended. you can’t just give better visuability or worse, give hud to planes.

this might be improved with a bomber sight where you can see it like an observation point.
but even there, it might be situational in my opinion.

Things I would change with planes is fixing consistency (so bombs don’t bounce) and perhaps making them slightly better against armored vehicles. Right now Stuka has to have it 250kg bomb physically connect with a BA-10 to score a kill, not dissimilar to how handheld explosive packs work. I’d like if the blast radius (penetration fall-off?) could be increased against vehicles. Against infantry it is still kinda small but it’s not that obvious and it isn’t hard to score a lot of kills.

Yes, they are probably made for teamplay, however, a completely blind pilot that is forced to rely on the magical red marker on the ground (which sometimes might even be a bait to tk someone or just accident is NOT a reliable source of information where to land bombs (I tried quite a few times… and if not even testers are able to provide reliable intel, we cannot expect, that public would). Not to mention marking vehicle that is constantly moving.
The very idea of pilots being completely blind is amusing… as long it is not on public release (public will probably eat devs alive for leaving it as it is which would probably result in planes blindly bombing only the capture points or not being used at all, due to the reason below), but completely impractical.

Also, the curse of a multiplayer game is the fact, that people very rarely work together as a team, we cannot expect them to communicate like an army (which is ironic, but that is reality).

Both vehicles and infantry needs to be seen by pilots from an increased distance (of course, visibility of a vehicle should be higher than infantry).

I think planes are ok now, as ppl above mentioned it’s for team play
like, dropping bomb on friendly marker etc.

But, I do think planes needs improve such as changing loadouts (like Ju87 500kg bomb; Il-2 250kg bombs etc.) and increase the amount of planes on the battlefield so fighters are actually useful . . .

well the issue is that the mortar team can do whatever the plane squad can, but better:
They can shell a position at one shot every second, higher accuracy, no need to expose them to enemy fire. Their damage feels about the same, but the plane can get shot down by AA, needs high skill and luck, because of bouncing bombs to accurately land bombs and need to return to rearm every minute.

Mortar teams almost have much faster response time and can shell a capture point as soon as the enemy starts capping it.
