Buff Pz.Sfl.Ic by bring down it's BR from 2 to 1

This is Pz.Sfl.Ic, which was once available as premium vehicle but discontinued years ago.
Now let me explain that why this vehicle doesn’t really fit in BR 2 but rather fits in BR 1 instead.
First, the armor.

30mm frontal armor on both hull and turret(The gun shield is 20mm thickness RHA)which is pretty weak-average for BR 2, that it would have been fine if it wasn’t an open-topped vehicle.

And on top of that, despite being it an open-topped vehicle the canvas fabric actually covers the roof, meaning that it cannot use ‘the commander view’ mode.

This is the best view mode it can get.

Also you might have noticed that the total crew members are only 3 for this vehicle which are driver, gunner, loader so that’s another disadvantage on top of that.

Now, you’d expect that with all those disadvantages at least the gun would be really good for it’s BR like Marders, right?

Well, not really. Actually, far worse. The gun is just plain german L/60 50mm gun that’s available to Puma and Panzer 3 J1 and such but with actual slower reload speed(5.9 secs, about 10 shots per minute)than other 50mm guns(Which has 3.7 secs, roughly 16 shots per minute as you can see on Puma right here).

Oh, did i also mention that it has no coaxial MG whatsoever and carrying less ammo than other tanks with 50mm guns and as a bonus, bad gun depression too for being only -5 gun depression as well?

With all things considered, this vehicle is just BR 1 material. I mean honestly even on BR 1 i think i’d hesitate to use this tank over other BR 1 vehicles on the TT.

Anyway, i want it to be BR 1. That way, at least we can say that the gun is pretty good for being BR 1.

The only BR2 aspect of this vehicle is it’s main gun, it doesn’t even offer more mobility than a Panzer III J either so why not.
It wouldn’t get too much more useful at BR1, at most it’s easier to destroy a T-50 or M3 Lee with it than with a Panzer III J or M14/41.

That’s solid advice. I’d rarely even use this tank at BR 1—BR 2 is just ridiculous.

Pz. Sfl. Ic - remove its canope

As of now, this vehicle has nothing to offer compared to other german BR2 vehicles. It’s an underwhelming premium vehicle. It’s an open topped, yet has terrible vision (you can use only gunner and driver view). It has no means how to actively defend itself from infantry. Therefore, I propose removing its canope. But whatever, they’ll never touch it any meaningful way. This vehicle is doomed to be boring to play. Just don’t buy it - unless you are collector.

And removing its canope will? It’s still a very bad tank at BR1 with the ability to stick your head out. There’s really no reason to use it over the Pz 3J let alone anything at BR2.

It’s really pathetic when open topped vehicle is literally limited in vision, has no way how to deal with infantry. But is still extremely vulnerable to basically any plane.

You can do both, it’s not like the presence of a canopy makes it horrible, it’s the armament. It’s not gonna magically be BR 2 worthy just because of the canopy being removed aswell.

Besides that, the thing is like a model tank destroyer for BR 1 anyway.

That’s not what I have said. It’s always going to be pretty underwhelming to its counterparts.

Like why tf would you even buy this over Pz 38. Pz 38 has no issue penetrating any BR1/2 vehicles. Especially since there’s penetration indicator.

But as of now, it’s straight up hostile to its own player. It’s simply not fun to play. And won’t be on BR1 just as well.

So if it stays on BR2, clueless won’t at least be baited into buying it.

Two is many? Removing the canopy allows you to stick your head out and get shot and use a SMG. It won’t make it worth using at BR1 or BR2.

I dunno, I’ve had some problems with the grant and T-50 mainly, could be useful in that role.

And were are the up sides?
It neigter has mobility nor armor while carrying a worse gun than its competition so what role is it supposed to fullfill if at BR 1 it could at least act as a shitty tank hunter.

This tank is fun in war thunder, but in enlisted… its sad and kinda useless.

Slow reload, limited view option, open top but not not really, no mg, and sheyty HE.

The only good thing about this tank is speed

If the map is less restricted for tank then this tank can be a good a long tange tank kill with flanking maneuvers
