This guy turned our base into a fortress with masses of barbed wire, Czech hedgehogs, and sandbags – while the rest of the idiots couldn’t even build ONE rally point. We won basically thanks to him. Sucks he only got 656 engineer points. We need to increase points from non-rally sources for heroes like him, right?
The amount of xp for damage assist from builds should increase but not the actual amount of xp for just building items because that’s exploitable and players should only be rewarded if their barbed wire or mg nests are placed strategically where enemies will be.
I think engineers should get waaaaayyyyy more points for building rallies, ammo boxes and AT/AA guns.
Especially the first two.
Hopefully with bigger rewards more people would be encouraged to build desperately needed rallypoints.
I also think engineers should have more default build points. As you allude to we have all these devices to fortify a position, but never any time or resources to properly utilise them.
Like if youve built a rally and an AT gun, youre running out of build points.
I understand having a limit on the amount of each build item but we should be able to build more stuff generally.
