Buff AI in higher Battle Ratings

AI is very weak, they take forever to react, they don’t hit, they get slaughtered even by mediocre players - which is a good thing for beginners,

having very easy AI helps new players and casuals to learn the game…
…however, for someone like myself I get bored by fighting bots - they are way too easy and nothing but cannon fodder.

So why not increase AIs deadlines at high BRs, its where us “sweatlords” are playing anyways.

I miss CBT AI, they made me feel like I was part of a big battle.

Agreed. The high BR AI could have a faster reaction time.
It used to have a faster reaction time, so it should be intentionally nerfed now.
Time to unlock their true power.

I still think that AI should scale according to your skill. Short version:
You kill more = enemy AI shoots you with more accuracy
You kill less = enemy AI often misses you

In both scenarios AI is very agressive and shoots often.

So no matter your skill, you can play any BR.

Interesting thoughts, but to be honest, does a good player need to have stronger AI than a bad player?

Seems a bit too easy to “snowball”, dont think this could be done, especially considering that “ranks, points and stats” don’t necessarily represent the “skill” of a player to begin with.

Exactly the oposite.
You mean that good player would have stronger AI in his squad.
But I mean that better player would fight against stronger AI.

I edited the message to make it easier to understand.

Just take player’s K/D when he plays as infantry. Good enough for crude skill measurement.
(There are more conditions I’d put here but I want to keep it simple as most ppl and devs don’t really care.)

The AI must be chaleging in my opnion, not something like a terminator or idiot, but chaleging.

it,s wortless to think about tactics around the game if you Troops miss all shoots,

i would increse acuracy, and YES. this sujestion is very good, so acording to BR of the match the AI might get better.

+1.

Its quite logical too,

if you’re killing a lot your position will be reported, (and you probably shoot a lot too) so enemy AI has more chance to detect you in the first place and then kill you, so it’s reasonable to add this, the biggest issue though is that you’d take away racking up kills which enlisted is very known for,

personally I’d like enlisted to be big battle you’re part of rather than you’re super soldier brrrrrrr so yeah

If you loose on effectiveness too much, AI will get weaker.
So your K/D would oscylate around certain values. The magic of the feedback loop.

Same. I don’t want a hero shooter (and it kind of feels this way).

unfortunately for us enlisted has been going towards this since long time now and it seems we’re not going back.

Ah okay then I indeed misunderstood you

The problem with decent AI in general is that at a certain power level they will be very difficult to deal with on maps with bushes and many trees.

This would actually be nice and help with the current issues where Soviets and Allies have nobody to play with at high BR.

How about just giving a cover system like cod 1 did 20 years ago ? Main problem is they cant protect themselves not necceserily killing less.
Not reacting bot at open = passive monkey to be shot
Reacting bot at open = hyperactive monkey to be shot.

Even the AI in GTA5 behaves more decently, so we are waiting for better AI improvements.

AI is so bad right now, that I often set them not to attack - because then they don’t stop in the middle of an open field just to shoot at someone they wont hit no matter what. they are 100% cannon fodder to me.
