This was a tank battle between the BT7 and the King Tiger, you’re not necessarily going to use your cannon.
Although I can easily kill Tiger E from the side with BT7, but killing Tiger 2 H with BT7 cannon is not something I can do.

Turret ring of KT has only 60 mm
So if you can penetrate it and have enough post pen dmg to damage ammunition in Tiger’s turret, you will eventually destroy it.

ngl that movement was something that i would never be able to think abt i would just get out the tank and use the squad like a cheap assaulter

In a very big theory, it is possible to destroy a KT even with AT rifle that has more than 30mm of pene.
Unlike the top of the turret (where the armor is 40mm), the bottom of the turret under the ammo only has 30mm.
But I needed quite a few shots to get lucky to penetrate it with my rifle that has 32mm of penetration
