Fun weapon, but I think it would be better in BR III
and an interesting idea for this new type of machine guns in BRV it would be a mobile HMG like the DSHK in Rising storm 2 vietnam

The main problem is locking it to prone or bipod fire only and I’d rather see that changed, with something like just hipfiring it, than reducing it’s BR.

50 round belt with ADS capability would be better for BR3.

use it with combination with the Johnson pick the 2 weapons option not the extra ammo all the meta players do it xD
If it can only be used lying down, they could put it in BR1 and I still wouldn’t use it. Gaijin made a cool gun, then instantly made it half useless IMOP.
I voted no, but only because
locking it to prone or mounted makes it, effectively, a sidegrade from cronstructable LMG nests. I like the mechanic, I really do for the heavier belt fed LMGS, but honestly because of this it could sit at BR2 and not break balance. If they cut the belt to 50rds and gave us a bale for hip fire on the move, I could see br3, but as it is it’s a br2 gun that’s only situationally useful at that
I would rather see it buffed by giving it ads. Bren mk 100 and dp 100 are already at br 4 without handicaps
This is not a rank IV gun its barely rank 3 because it’s worse than the BAR in nearly every way except capacity.
I’m against this for all MMGs in the game sense the 34 was added you should not be able to shoulder MMGs they are far too heavy to practically do this without pronning or using the bipod the 1919A4 is 31 pounds at least make it cost stamina to ADS these things.

I voted Yes. However others have raised valid concerns against.
My argument is just that the Allies deserve a BR III LMG that is actually an LMG comparable to the MG34.
The BARA2 is a good gun but its an automatic rifle, not a true machine gun. You can hardly defend a point with 20 round mags (compared to 50 round MG34).
The Bren guns are okay but top mounted mags suck.
50 bullets and make it able to shoot without aimimg and it’s fine for br 3
