Well there is like the option to spend a silver on a dude that gives you exacly what you want.
And here’s the stupid part because the farther you progress in the campaign then the less likely you are to get what you want. Right now I have 12 possible soldiers to pick from …
Even If it is perfectly random; which I don’t believe it is, then that’s a 12 to 1 chance and the chances get less and less as you progress …

I have never ever had any issues getting soldiers. I am nearing the max with all my squads right now and they all seem to have progressed evenly without ever experiencing any hickups that where not preventable with a silver order or 2.
I think the biggest issue I had was I had to delete all lvl 1 dudes for a month because I did not have the room.
Stop over dramatising shit, you are the one going insane not the rng in the game.
Technically, you can convert them into Troopers already, with good RNG. Just put 1-2 Troopers and 2-1 of other dudes you don’t need into Academy and pray to RNG you get your Trooper back. Otherwise, try again.

and iv probably sent over 35 lvl 1 pilots to the rear already…
And you should stop believing that just because you don’t have a problem then it’s doesn’t mean that there is no problem. If it’s not happening to you then good for you, but you can see from this thread that others are having this problem …

Thanks for show us what you have been dealing with. Even though my list of pilots is quite large yours is larger still.
For me this just confirms my initial thoughts which is that there must be something going on with the RNG. I don’t believe that it’s 100 percent random …
And even if it is it needs to be changed. The number and types of soldiers you get should be in proportion to what your actual need based on what is in your line up at that moment.
Since every squad has and needs troopers then troopers should be the most common and on down from there.
Since you can only have a max of 2 pilots slotted at any one time then pilots should be way down the list.
Or as I said ealier lest us buy silver orders with bronze then we can choose what we want …
lmao I thought i was the only one getting pilots. I’ve got more 4 star pilots than I can count… problem is i don’t play planes lol
They should allow you to exchange 10 soldiers (or however many) of one type for a soldier of your choice of equivalent rank. That would help
Would be even better if you could do that with 3 and have it already in the game
