Nerfing all rally points by adding 30 meters regardless of the current distance making some maps impossible to even put a rally down (reverted)

Not reverted just cut down, as for the distance of spawns they were too lazy to got throguh and see to which maps it’s good and which it’s not XD
The worst part of those was they were just seemingly randomly added one day. No one asked for them, there were no posts just there it is surprise

That is exactly what they did to Semis as well.
Zero complaints about the Mod 39, M1 (other than being UP), etc and then poof, goodbye RoF.

Pretty sure the bolt nerf had simila reasons.

There are times when I think the lack of an FG42 Nerf but all the other ones was to force players into Min Maxing squads. I refused to do it.
I still run the G43 and all the other ‘lesser guns’ because I don’t want to be that guy that can only win with the best.
The best to me is what you are most comfortable with.
Plus, the FG42 should never have been the goto rifle for Berlin. That’s a spot where the VG1-5 should have taken. And from what Alpha testers say, that is how it was long ago.
Its a shame.

I have no problem nerfing rally points tbh
varried across maps, in Tunsia it was absolute hell cause getting to a place where you can build a rally was already not easy cause you had to go through the no man’s land a find a spot with cover to do it. and a bynch of those spots got delted with it so in a lot of places rallys were able to be put only a few metter from the actual spawn

Like a lot of things it probably needed more scrutiny than a blanket nerf. Building stealth rallies practically ontop of caps was BS tho.

Yes they should just inroduced multi radiuses depending oin the point, but that woul require effort and actual game design, at this point i am sure they have lost all vision and passion for the game it’s like seeing WT on a speedrun.

I never wanted 30M rallies, but I also didn’t approve of some maps having Organic Spawns favoring one side over the other (which happened in quite a few maps). Combined with maps where your RP would be FURTHER than the damn Organic one (Reigstag Conquest was a shining example of this).
Do RP’s need a fix? Yes. But its a complicated one that will require Meta Data of W/L on maps, which maps have spawns that favor one side over the other etc etc.
And not as many restrictions of being near an existing spawn capture point to the point where it makes not sense to build.
Its a problem they tried a blanked solution on, and it failed spectacularly. Hopefully the next time they can get it a little bit more practical and workable.

They use spawn distance to balance maps, whether that’s a good thing or not IDK but they’ve adjusted stuff like that multiple times for a map.
I’ll trust that you know that, I’ve never taken notes at the distances, but I am sure I can check on some older VODs. Makes sense that they would try that. The bugger part of it was nerfing something without taking all the collateral damage into consideration.
That was one of my biggest complaints, along with the Blanket Nerf on SA’s without considering the VG or M1.
