Its much easier to add a British faction with BR5 potential than to move Japan into BR5, also the matchmaker shouldn’t matter much anyways - because many campaigns wouldn’t change too much right?

Everything that’s currently available is going to be grinded for the second time + no possibility of combining Commonwealth and US stuff in one lineup.

unless you’re gonna find plenty of protos to fill the various br, you’d just end up with reused weapons from the muricans.
not to mention, UK and ITALY are the primary premium material that devs use to sell stuff.
Aussies are an example.
and so the firefly and churchill tanks along other side various planes.
if they become a stand alone faction, what would they replace those with?
not to mention, it would be somewhat of a doomed tree since major stuff would be locked behind premium squads and in the muricans tree.

I have to admit that BR5 could get tricky for British firearms, but there are some cool Sten versions and suppresed ones thst could be added - and tanks shouldn’t be a problem at all, Cromwell, non premium Valentine, Matilda, Firefly, multiple variants of Churchills, Achillies, Comets and many more.
Sassenach wi’ a scots accent is bonny muckle impossible tae ken whit yer saying, sae if a scots player posts a thread 'ere, he kin be banned even if he is usin` sassenach.
America has like 4 weapons in Tier 5, finding 4 guns for the Brits ain’t that hard.
Charlton and the Vickers are already in the game and could replace the M2 and M1919
They could keep the drum mag Thompson or instead add something like Sten Mk. V, or Sten guns with 50 round mags
And lastly, instead of the useless sniper Garand, could give them the 3 inch mortar since allies lack a 80mm mortar for some reason.

I can make a British tree with AR and SF rifles and other jazz but they have the same problem as other non-faction nations and Japan, lack of tanks though to a lesser extent but we know devs will want British ti fight BR 5 so what tanks is there to be able to counter KT(H) there are few that I can think of but never used in action and only made in single digit, those tanks being Black prince and Avenger and Challenger and M4A4 Sherman VC Firefly with either APCBC (Up to 100 meters can pen turret chicks of KT(H) ) or APDS(Only black prince and challenger) round with 269 pen
QF 3.7 Ram, an open top Canadian TD only can pen the turret chicks
Tog II, can only pen turret chicks
Comet 1 with APDS can pen turret chicks
And also Centurian pilot Veichles, they are just like any WW2 tank they use 77mm and 17 pounder but for 17 pounder variant you still need the APDS round which is not used in 17 pounder tank cannon as far as I know they were used on normal infantry cannon anyhow Sweden was the only country during ww2 to APDS as a tank shell
Firefly is the only tank in this batch to be used but that’s Premium so yeah
I think a fair question would be what’s the upside to adding an independent British faction?
The UK faction would potentially compete with USA for matchmaking against germany, which would be bad. They could alternatively be mixed with USA for matchmaking, which would be the same as currently.
The UK faction would need a lot of fantasy weapons to fill out it’s campaign tree, which is questionable. Those same weapons could just be added to the current allied tree without the need for another faction.
The UK faction could have its own squads and soldiers, which is good. Those same squads and soldiers could be added to the current allied campaign tree alongside their respective weapons.
Commonwealth weapons make up about 1/3 of the current allied campaign tree. Combined with legacy squads from the merge, separating out the UK would lead to even more redundancy in the allied lineup.
is there a compelling reason why the UK should have its own separate faction, instead of a sub-faction of the allies?
Why couldnt the UK players queue into the same matchmaker as US? No need to split.

Everything past BR3 would be useless, weird proto stuff I have never heard from and would make US less playable.
Would just add the ability to buy Allied squads for Germany and US together with soldiers of said Allies and add more British Stuff as folder stuff.

Yeah, lets go back to splitting the queues into a thousand tiny pieces, all to have more useless factions with 3 guns, 1 tank and 1 plane in it /s
