And why do I want an event for a squad that I already have? In any case, I would add them to the store a couple of times a year.

Yeah me too, I was playing something else at that time, and paying for a free event squad is not in my plans at all.
I mean not for everyone, I have to assume that you missed or skipped an event squad, would be nice to have some event with squads coming back and you can choose what to keep. I mean, I don’t work for them, but this can be good for everyone.

But in the real world there are only two real options for the company:
- Pay for it
- Never have it
In War Thunder they also monetize vehicles from past events.

I do understand the pov of the cfo, but at the end of the day common folks (me), are not gonna pay for lamey squads that once were free, and eventually you gonna run out of event squads and gonna start to put squads like this one in the last event which are kind of useless in comparison with a regular squad.
It’s not so crazy for a suggestion.

Btw. Community manager already confirmed old event squads will eventually come back. But it will be way harder to get them than it was for the first time.

Looks like I have to suffer in the future if I want the Japanese type 99 long rifle squad.

They could re-run Events and add something a “Gold Squad Order” that players that already have the squad would get instead - which could be used on a “Event Squads”-Tab in the Shop where all the other event squads are puchaseable for those “Gold Squad Orders”.
By this, players who got such an order, could get the squad of another event they missed - or can save the order for a future event when they can’t participate because they need to take a time off when they go on holiday or whatever.

I think thats a great idea, hopefully theyll implement something close to that
I do find it quite unfortunate that if you dont play during the event youll miss out on the squads for a really long time or maybe even forever god forbid. There can be a load of factors on why somone would miss an event. I love the game and hope they bring them all back in the near future

Well they did add some old event weapons in an event about a month ago so thats a bit promising so… we shall see

I know if that silenced squad comes up, ever again, i will do all, to get it, (cough) even pay gold
except i have no plans on playing Germany for a while anyway.
