Reopen the holy BP store in limited times.

Let the BP store open in 1 to 3 days straight in either every 3 months, 6 months, or yearly.

The BP store definitely needs to return, even at intervals would be fine. IMOP, the dumbest thing the Dev’s did was remove the BP store entirely. It’s hard to buy when their is no store to buy, and the only options available are buying the same constantly regurgitated squads or squad bundles, or a spoon fed event weapon here and there.

I was fortunate to have been around long enough to have bought quite a few BP weapons that many may never have access to, unless the Dev’s decide we’re worthy to have it spoon fed to us in an event. IMOP, every one of those weapons is money the Dev’s are flushing down the toilet if the players don’t have the opportunity to purchase them. Customer purchase = profit, well, at least where I grew up. :thinking:

I wonder if the BP shop got shut down because the devs feared players buying piles of BP weapons all at once would severely break game balance.

That reasoning doesn’t feel solid to me though. Many of those weapons aren’t overpowered; most are just niche fun items.

My guess is there are two real reasons. First, to create a monopoly and push players toward loot boxes. Second, the workload. As long as the BP shop stayed active, every battle pass had to feature at least one BP weapon for each nation, tripling the work required compared to now.

I suspect falling development capacity forced them to remove the entire BP shop to cut workload. This move had huge side effects. It seems they didn’t merely disable the shop UI; they deleted all its underlying code. Players took massive losses: daily login rewards cut by 90%, stored gold cards invalidated with no GE exchange.

A large number of firearms became effectively discontinued, only obtainable occasionally through loot boxes on major updates.

Nope. They limited how many of one weapon you could buy. I was super disappointed to find I couldn’t buy a ton of murata rifles. God forbid people have fun or something I guess.

So at least they should make loot boxes always available! Few days ago I had my birthday, wanted to spend some euros in the Enlisted shop, but there wasn’t literally anything I liked (I don’t play tanks and planes). Some euros missed by Gaijin, went to another game’s shop.

No. This would make all the older items less rare. If you wanted them you should have bought them when they came back and or have played earlier.

OR… let me buy another four of each whenever it’s opened up again… then yes I’m down.

But that would mean consistent stream of RMMs… then people would cry… and it wouldn’t happen… so for now my vote is no.
