Pre-merge, there were many daily missions that potentially helped the balancing between factions.
Such as: Play one game of Battle of Moscow as axis, or something to that extent.
This could be easily be implemented into the game to help fix players siding toward one faction, at least to some extent.
Plus, sometimes it gets boring playing the same faction again. Even when I select join any team, it seems to side toward specific factions so I might not play something like Germany for 15 games straight.
Yeah. 90% of the time those were a hard pass for me. I’m a fan of “play any” but if one side of one campaign was getting reliably and repeatedly curb stomped, there’s nothing to be done as a single player. You can fight the good fight - and lose nearly all matches. Best case, you get a battle hero. Play 3 of these? Nah. That might be half my games for the week (more - and too many, lately).
I always select the “any team” option that way as I progress I rank up every nation instead of a single one. Individuals just playing one nation are missing out, each nation has its perks and weaknesses which give a different but pleasurable experience with each individual nation.
