I’m not sure enough about this to make it a full report, but something seems wrong with the AB’s Breda 20mm lately. On more than one occasion i’ve sprayed the side of a brit tank, had green indicators the entire time, and it just looks like it’s HE splashing like the T-60’s 20mm TNSh high explosive rounds, not penetrating at all.
I get it’s a silly italian popgun and all but throw me a fuckin bone here, it shouldn’t have a problem penetrating the sides of the A13 at 10m
Consider that the A13 2 pdr could go through the 8mm armour of the AB41 at 3000m - or 2000m if sloped at 60 degrees - but in game it is often defeated at 100m.
tanks damage models are the same of warthunder. hit or miss. you either get whats intended or get broken pile of garbage and a note saying dont go pass go dont collect your $200.
well i think they had to scale that damage model down. i think thats the issue with all tanks. in all campaigns. is that the scaling math is broken to make it more ideal for the small maps and engagement area.
I have been playing the Tunisian campaign since the open beta came out and have noticed that currently the AB 41s are almost indestructible (I use the Daimler and A13 tanks, both of which use the same 40mm qf2 pounder cannon)
I fired over 15 armor-piercing rounds from the daimler today (all with green sights) until I ran out of ammo and couldn’t destroy it.
On the other hand, the AB41 hits me 1 or 2 multi-shot bursts with its 20mm lower barrel and in 5 seconds it destroys me as if my tank were made of cardboard.
