BR4 Japan now has the new AT gun, an assault rifle, a decent tank and ok planes.
It still does not have a BR4 rifle and the mg has this weird sight and a big sprint penalty so it’s probably better to play BR3 mgs I suppose.
Is it worth getting into BR4 Japan if I wanna try BR4?

i mean, the only good br4 nations are russia and germany thats the only ones i would choose
even the slr1944 is a dumb BP bc theres no br4 rifle for US

You will have one don’t worry… as the next Japanese BP weapon.
Regarding BR4, on paper both Germany and Soviet Union looks really good and interesting at this BR, great tank, great SMG, good rifles, and if you have BP/event weapons this is even better (Mkb42 M, Breda rifle, Mondragon, PPSH-45, TKB…)
On the other end, japan and US are really lackluster with no TT rifle, no domestic AT, and pretty lacluster option all around honestly.
In reality, you will be facing BR5 all the time and even for soviets and germans the gap is simply too large between the two BR to be worth it.

Japan and USA aren’t great to play br 4 even though they have some fun toys they don’t have a full roster and you’ll end up using BR3 equipment lots. BR 4 USSR would be my pick for BR 4 for good gear but I play BR 4 japan and USA time to time still fun (for me at least… sometimes) but not always the Ideal equipment to back them up. USSR or Germany flip a coin both are very beefy at BR4 as Para has pointed out lots of times.
MKB42H (15) might be better than their AR honestly.

What’s funny is that Axis got a 20 rounds AR… in br2. (Mkb35). Sure Japanese one is a little more potent… but 2 br higher?
