The Fiat G.55 was meant to be the BR3 German fighter aircraft, but it was moved up to BR4 and has remained there for years. Despite this, the U.S. and Japan have long held their own excellent BR3 fighter aircraft, and Russia just sticks with the P-40.
The Fiat is comparable in flight performance to the BR3 aircraft of other nations, but will retain a much lighter load of ordinance. 2 100kg bombs vs 2 500lbs bombs is a stark enough difference to make up for the Fiat’s excellent dogfighting capabilities.
