1-2 ,3-4 ,5 is the best way ,at least better than 1-2-3 ,3-4-5, how do you like meeting br5 with br3 equipment lol
I agree

I would also suggest
0-1 new players and low level/2-3/4-5
Not as bad as BR1 vs BR3:
They have paratroopers, you don’t
They have MGs, you don’t
They have flamethrowers, you don’t
They have trucks/APCs, you don’t
They have real tanks like KV/Sherman/Pz IV, you don’t
They have rocket planes, you don’t
Actually I-153 has rockets at BR I
(and soviet hurricane). I have no idea how good they are, but they exist.
Also, except Flamethrower (which are really bad at BR III) and shermans/kv/pz IV, you can find everything else you mentioned as soon as BR 2, and technically soviet paratroopers can be BR I as well.
Anyway I do agree with you that fighting BR 3 stuff with BR 1 is hopeless, but only in terms of vehicle, there are some good weapons at BR 1 that can carry you in the low tier battles for quite some times.
Of course it’s not impossible to fight BR3 with BR1, but my point is indeed that at BR1 you’re missing whole mechanics like APCs or flamers, while BR3 abd BR5 only differ in effectiveness level.
I think having each match have a main BR with some players being allowed from ±1 might work.
So as BR 3 you can face BR 5 and 1, but only in very limited numbers. So for example each team could have 3-4 slots that would allow players from 1 rank up or down and the other slots must be from the matches BR.
Honestly I am unsure why BR 1 and 2 and BR 4 and 5 are split atm anyways if they get thrown into the same matches anyways.
I understand that you consider equipment to be more important than skills and tactics.
And the truth is that an experienced player with BR1 equipment will be at the top of the table playing against BR5.
I think the only threats that are really difficult to eliminate for BR3 are KV and M4A2
they are really annoying
I love it. Destroying StG nerds with my BAR and Tiger’s and Tiger II’s with BR III 500lb’ers? Please
It is true that skill matters and prolly more so than equipment, but if you put 2 teams of same skill against each other one with BR5 equipment and one with BR1 equipment then the one with BR5 equipment will win very easily.
And skill mattering more does have nothing to do with balancing equipment anyways. Otherwise we could just remove BR and thow everything into a singe que.
every br5 player can be considered to be “experienced”, yet not for br1 or br3
I don’t agree with that. A player with BR5 is convinced that his equipment is superior to his skills.
The equipment in enlited is diverse, but BR1 rifles have a big advantage over other weapons, and that is damage.
The basic rifle is the best shooting weapon in the game. In a 1v1 fight, when one has an assault rifle and the other has a four-barrel, the advantage in rate of fire is low. And the advantage is taken away by normalization.
No, it will make BR1 and 3 a filler.
Best is 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, 4-5 so every BR has some purpose.
Or just make ±0 BR mm. There’s not quite bug difference between 4 or 5 queues.
Muh variety though
If I wanted to see the same 5 guns all the time, I’d play BFV.
Yeah. Because it makes an awful lot of difference when people only use meta stuff on each BR, because they’re afraid they might end up in a match against a higher BR.
But I guess proper balance is worse than this artificial insecurity.
It’s what makes Enlisted interesting. Each match entirely different from the last
Ppl will use meta regardless so at least mix metas to achieve divercity.
Sorry but I don’t want to play exactly the same match vs mirrored teams because it’s balanced and boring.
You can more easily balance 5 weapons that supposed to be on similar power level than 2 and 3 weapons which supposed have one power level difference.
Meaning, if there’s ±0 BR it’s way easier correct meta.
I guess you are right. Though I have doubts if it’s a realistic scenario.
