Battle Ratings are coming! There will inevitably be confusing and weird BR outcomes, so it’d be fun and extremely productive to speculate what those are.
My first bet: MP 717 (r) will be lower BR than the regular PPSH.
Technically yes, mp717 have the same stats of the ppd40 so both gun should have the same Br

my bet…equipping a single mauser pistol with germany will put you against IS2, m4a2 76mm, Fedorovs and M2 carbines right off the bat.

I’m hoping I can give the early Thompson variants (Drum mag and vertical grip) to one of my Marine Assault squads, in combination with a bunch of Springfields equipt, and be thrown into Pacific matches.

I think captured equipment should be worse br than stats indicate.

Bro, I made a case for this, and all the responses were “muh m2 carbine in Normandy” and “muh historical accuracy is ruined therefore, we should have none”
I brought up pictures and documents showing Marines using the 1928A1 Thompson drum mag at Guadalcanal and why it should’ve replaced the M2 Carbine that only appeared in Okinawa because of how late in the war it was. Still, they would have no reason or logic. Ig they just want to spam M2 Carbine and give the US an unfair advantage in the Pacific early and not make sense.

i saw the horrors of the br,
and i was able to have 3 squads of engineers fully with stgs.
but if someone would like to top a notch with it, gets 3 assaulters squads plus engies of sg

New players will only get ppk or pp
event squads give weapons. in moscow you can happen to have mauser pistols at campaign level 1. new players can, and hopefully will, be able to get end game weaponry without being at end game. therefore, the point stands.
I hope that pistols or other equipment wont have br. I would hate to not be able to use my event pistols or swords in low br
