Type Hei (late) is no longer BR4 and is also a BP rifle so it should be compared to other BP or event rifles instead of tech tree weapons.
Farquhar-Hill is also BP and should also be compared to BP/event/premium rifles like the Mondragon instead.
As you can see only USSR and Germany have BR IV semi autos Japan and the Allies dont and battle pass weapons cant be compared with TT weapons since there is 20 rounds BR IV semi autos variants of TT 10 rounds variants.
Normally for Japan Type hei and co should have been TT to make the faction more distinct from US but the devs made bad pick.

ZH -29 is really the only reasonable rifle for BR IV Japan the other is some prototype that we have very little info about and for the allies also are bunch of prototypes since Japan and Allies really dont have real BR IV semi autos specially compared to USSR and Germany but BR III is heavy Allies and USSR dominated BR. But if we come to semi autos its USSR > Allies> Germany > Japan. If its just TT br III semi autos Germany and Japan are almost on the same level. But I like the Japanese semi auto more the German one but the Jonny is not bad unless you put SVT 38. SVT 38 is probably the best semi auto for BR III then its the Jonny. On BR IV Germany is better then allies.
So we can just copy paste it from the German TT I dont like that but I dont see really no other reasonable option for BR IV semi auto for Japan unless its some prototype with very little info.
Well you need to collect few more cuz I dont have them all specially I miss some battle pass weapons and unique premiums but you can ask around the forum there is people with far more squads then me.
