BR IV Calliope in a BR II Battle?

So I been playing for almost a month, I have been making sure to stay within BR II because all my equipment is GOD AWFUL. Was tired of facing Full Auto opponents so I purchased over 15 Armaguerras… What a terrible mistake and waste of silver. Even fully upgraded they are awful but I digress.

My Red button bottom right says " BR I-III" I enter the match, it’s a defense. I turn around to retreat from the front lines (Off the cap) to build a Rally point, I don’t make it 10 meters from spawning and my squad is annihilated in a flash… By a Calliope BR 4 or 5. So I left the match instantly because I didn’t sign up for that OP BS, I’m not using anything BR III for that reason.

So can someone explain how that happened so I can avoid it in the future?

Yeah, it happens from time to time. To prevent this, you have to restart game each time you’ll change BRs. (According to some people)

It’s just another bug that devs claimed they’ve fixed, yet reality is exactly the opposite. I’ve myself experienced it after said statement.

OK, That might explain it for I was testing the BR III Semi Auto Rifles in Practice Mode just 2 matches prior to the Calliope. That is a relief, I’ll make sure to relog after any testing.
