BR III - IV: Churchill Mk.V 95mm Howitzer with squad

:white_check_mark: general informations:
→ The Churchill Mk V was the dedicated close-support (CS) variant of the British Churchill infantry tank. Built on the Churchill Mk IV chassis, it replaced the standard 6-pounder anti-tank gun with a 95mm tank howitzer inside a cast turret. These tanks provided heavy infantry support and bunker-busting firepower during World War II. A total of 241 Churchill Mk V tanks were produced, primarily in 1943, and saw active combat service in the Italian Campaign and later on the Western Front in Europe.

I feel like this would worsen the HE dpam if added with an event of premium squad. BUT we don’t have a TT Churchill for Br 3.

We already have Alecto with the same 95mm gun on BR 2 and it is fine on BR 2 so churchill with 95mm gun would be okay on BR 3 i guess.

Not possible the 105 Sherman exists

I’m confused as to why people are voting BR4 for this, it has worse HE output than a Sherman but has to use HEAT instead of an APHE round, it’s a Churchill so it’s gonna be slow, and it only has slightly better armor than the BR3 Churchill we already have. At BR4 it would just be a waste of dev time.

Also Alecto belongs at BR1.

I stated it worsen the HE spam if added WITH a event or premium squad. It’s already bad as it is, and if added with a squad, then it would become worse.

I think there are more than enough anti-infantry tanks in the game already.

That’s the petard AVRE Churchill right? Those mortar shells apparently are very awkward to load - who knows how this would translate into the game.

No. That one has 230mm mortar

No it does not, any tank with over 75mm and has access to HE/HEAT do not belong to BR 1.

I do agree with your other points however.

again 2nd good armored arty tank for USA, Russia still have 2, japan 1 and the germans? the real counterparts (not thin metal ones) would be brummbär and stuig33b but none

You’ve got some nerve, putting a barn with thick armor at the same BR as the Sturmpanzer II - that’s rich)))
